Interior:

Two swing locking doors open the pilothouse to the outdoors, but if you are navigating from inside the pilothouse, you have a warm cubby with windows all around providing an excellent view. The helm has a nice cushioned bench seat with a long bench to starboard, which can seat several friends or serve as an additional bunk on long voyages. Behind the helm seat is a storage cabinet and the surface made to be a chart table, but can also be an excellent place to hold quickly-needed items or something like a coffee maker. Down inside the main living quarters, you ll notice her voluminous interior, starting with her more than six feet of headspace. The U-shaped galley is to port and has a three-burner stove with oven and pot rails, a large refrigerator and freezer, large sink, and lots of storage chests, cupboards, cubbies, racks and more. On starboard is the vessel head with a Wilcox Crittenden handpump commode, a new holding tank with Y-valve, lots of counterspace and storage options, as well as showering capabilities. Two water tanks carry a total of 250 gallons and you have a five-gallon hot water heater for your water needs. Forward are two nice long upholstered settee benches which flank the companionway and are near the diesel furnace. A beautiful mahogany table lowers from the wall and can also be butterflied open to provide great dinner seating from both settees. In the bow, a full-size v-berth bed awaits you at night and provides delicious a slumber. In all, Forever can sleep five adults very comfortably. Throughout the interior, you will find the features you desire and some nice surprises. Other features include, reading lamps, carpeting in the salon, six opening portholes and three deck hatches, a hanging locker and lots of tucked-away storage, including clever cubbies incorporated into the stair steps.

On Deck:

Forever is a sailing vessel with a canoe-shaped stern and length from the back davits to tip of Bow Pulpit of 46 feet. With a substantial beam of 12', it is quite easy to traverse fore and aft on deck, even with her raised pilothouse. She is a cutter rig, so great for long offshore sailing. She has an aluminum mast, SS halyards, and three sails by Donley Brothers of Port Townsend. Her sailing package also comes with lazy jacks for the main sail, two Harken Mark IV rolling furlers (furlers and foils updated since 2010), four Barent cockpit winches, cockpit winch covers and three winch handles. There is lots of seating around the cockpit and aft helm, with ample storage below the seats. Hoisted on heavy-built stainless davits, Forever has a West Marine dinghy, new in 2021, with a 15-horsepower Johnson outboard engine.

Engine and Mechanical:

When you want to motor, Forever is very nicely powered by a single Ford Lehman 80-horsepower diesel engine with a Hundestadt variable pitch propeller. Rebuilt in 2010, this engine has just 3,500 hours on it and is salt water cooled. Her velvet drive transmission was also rebuilt in 2010. She cruises at about 6-7 knots. Her two aluminum fuel tanks carry 200 gallons of diesel total. She has a full keel and rudder configuration, and the Hynautic SeaStar hydraulic steering was updated in 2020. When you want to anchor, she has a newer Lofgrans Tigress electric windlass (replaced in 2013) with 225 feet of chain.

Electrical and Electronics:

This sailing package has a very well-rounded electronics system which comes with her. Equipped with Raymarine autopilot, GPS, Navionics, AirMar wind instruments, Depth Sounder, two compasses, a VHF for communications, an EPIRB for emergencies, and more. Her West Marine battery charger was replaced in 2017. She has three 8D AGM batteries, one for starting and two for the housebank. Electric wipers are on both the port and starboard windshields and she has other electrical features, like LED spreader deck lights. While at the dock, plug Forever into 30-amp shore power. For musical entertainment, you have a Sony stereo system.

Notes and Extras:

Forever is a well-rounded package for a variety of Adventures! Other gear includes flares, a spotlight, life sling, life jackets, horseshoe buoy, radar reflector, carbon monoxide detector, and several fire extinguishers. She also has notable accessories such as a binnacle/wheel cover, sail covers, boat hook, bosun s chair, and more. Don t miss this beauty! Call and see her today!
