REDUCED TO $34,900! FIBERGLASS DECK, COMFORTABLE, Own a little piece of American history with this 1966 Uniflite PT boat. Used as a military river patrol boat in Viet Nam during the Viet Nam war, Storm Chief is a tough, seaworthy boat with a spacious new professionally-mounted cabin and a great price tag.

 Interior:
From the deck you enter the pilothouse through the sliding weather tight door. The interior is fashioned with warm-looking wood paneling. The port side helm has a spacious dash that has room for a collection of electronics. Navigate easily from the cushioned bench-style captain s seat. It has a passenger extension with a footrest, so you can have company while you are underway. Raised storage cubbies underneath the pilothouse seating are the perfect places to tuck away personal items or lunch totes. Enter the living quarters from the pilothouse by way of a small door with a hatch above it that you can lift so you don t whack you head on anything. Head down a few stairs and you have everything you need for a break from the fishing action or for a simple overnight stay. This new cabin was professionally attached to the hull of Storm Chief. A Dickinson Pacific stove/oven combo greets you on starboard. A small countertop is the perfect location to secure a microwave or coffee pot. Directly to port is the vessel s head with plenty of knee and elbow room, lots of counter space, a large medicine cabinet and cabinets under the sink. There also is a deep stainless steel sink in here for hand washing, but it is also within reach of the galley area, so you can also use it for galley needs. A 50-gallon water tank serves these water needs. The dinette in the bow converts into two single berths if you need a nap or an overnight option.

 On Deck:
Storm Chief is nicely rigged for trolling salmon. Her large walk around deck has plenty of room all around and there are strategically placed hand railings all around. Her particularly nice stern deck is partially covered by a custom aluminum roof. Welded railings atop it open the roof up as an option for storing equipment or a dinghy. Easily access the engine through the large in-deck raised hatch. When closed, the hatch also makes a quick place to sit a spell. Storm Chief does not have fish holds; however, her ample deck gives you plenty of space for totes. When working in the dark, you have deck lighting, as well as foredeck light for anchoring.

 Engine and Mechanical:
A single 165 horsepower Detroit diesel engine provides the moving power for this vessel. Fuel usage is five gallons per hour. Her two steel fuel tanks carry a total of 200 gallons for fuel and she has a Racor 1000 fuel filter. She has hydraulic steering and cable controls, as well as Par Max washdown. When anchoring is necessary, you have a Bruce 30-pound anchor on an Ideal electric winch with 100 feet of galvanized chain and 300 feet three-strand nylon line.

 Electrical and Electronics:
Storm Chief comes with a bevy of electronics for navigation and fish finding, including a Raymarine C120 GPS and plotter, Furuno VCV 667 color depth sounder and a Navico WP 5000 auto pilot. She had three 8-D start batteries, a Blue Seas 12V panel with amp and volt meter and a Cole Hearse rotary battery selector switch. For communications, you have a Standard Matrix VHF and a Uniden CB. For fun, you have a Sony CD am/fm satellite stereo with Sony marine deck speakers.

 Notes and Extras:
Set up for salmon trolling, this is a good boat for someone who wants to part-time commercial fish or someone who would like an affordable, heavy duty sea boat for sport fishing and over-nighting. Give us a call today and set up an appointment to check out this historical beast in person.
