Rawson commercial boats are known for their utility as roomy fishing vessels and their heavily laid-up fiberglass hull.  Interior:
Inside, you will find a main cabin with surprising amount of room to spend your down time or serve as a great live aboard. She could use a little cosmetic attention to make it your own but does come completely outfitted. Her oil stove provides for comfortable warmth throughout the cabin when you want to escape from the elements. The galley is equipped with the convenience of a microwave and a Dickinson Adriatic stainless steel stove with cast iron cook top preferred by many commercial cooks. The Hayes refrigerator with freezer gives you all the cold storage you need. You will find mahogany cabinets in the galley and throughout the boat providing plenty of storage. Formica counter tops make clean up a breeze. There is plenty of built in tackle storage and an easy access dry closet to for your survival suits and safety gear. Across from the galley is a convertible settee for four to relax and enjoy your meals while taking in the world outside. If needed, it can be converted to a double size bed. Forward you will find the primary sleeping quarters with a split V-berth for 2. Below you will find a roomy shower lined with easy clean Formica. 300 gallons of fresh pressurized water with an additional 12 gallons of hot water are available for you to enjoy long hot showers. For entertainment her Kenwood stereo provide music in the cabin as well as on deck.

 On Deck:
Her mast and rigging are aluminum to reduce some of weight aloft. You will find moving cargo efficient with the aluminum boom, blocks and tackle. Lines are controlled by a 3 spool simplex power troll gurdies. You will appreciate the strength of her steel stabilizers to reduce the roll and pull on your lines as well as increasing her comfort when negotiating rough seas. The quick draining easy maintenance cockpit floor is a feature you will appreciate no matter if you are working or just living aboard. The fly bridge offers the captain a great view when in the hunt. Here you find a set of helm controls and an engine information center with canvas cover to protect it from the elements. A Kenmore freezer mounted directly behind the helm is available for additional cold storage. There is also a 9ft Boston Whaler stored conveniently out of the working cockpit that can be easily launched with the convenience of an electric davits system. Forward on deck, you will a ground tackle package that includes a 65lb Bruce with 3/8 in. chain managed by a powerful Nordic Hydraulic winch.

 Engine and Mechanical:
Access to the engine room is easy and dry from a large hatch in the main cabin floor. Here you will find she is powered by two 210hp Caterpillar 3208 s. She was repowered in 1994 and now has only a little over 5000 hours. These can push her along at a very quick cursing speed of 10 while burning only 10 gph. Range is no problem with the 500 gallons of fuel capacity she carries. Built for commercial use she is equipped with 1 inch drive shafts and 3 bladed props driven by Twin Disc 506 reduction gearing that is known for fast shifting and slow speed control while trolling. There are even spare props included in the boats inventory. Helm control is made easy by her Comnav 2001 autopilot with remote and hydraulic steering controls located at the main helm, fly bridge, and cockpit.

 Electrical and Electronics:
30 amp AC shore power is available when at dock. A battery charger keeps her 2 8D starter batteries and 2 additional 8D house batteries topped up and ready to go. While underway AC power is available by a Trace 2000 watt inverter which is all you need for the microwave and AC lighting. At the helm, her electronics package is built around a Garmin GPS map 200 supported by a Furuno 1700 Radar. Communications incorporate an Icom M-59 VHW with a Cobra 19 Plus CB When it s time to locate your catch you have a Furuno FCV 667 color fish finder at the main helm and a Furuno FCV 50 color sounder in the cockpit.

 Notes and Extras:
