LOTS OF LIFE LEFT! An oldie but a goodie, Lonesome Dove is a 32 1982 Bayliner Explorer. An excellent option for an economical live aboard or family cruiser. A roomy layout and ample storage is just some of the attractive features found on this vessel.

 Interior:
The open concept interior is a Bayliner staple. Large windows offer excellent views and tons of light into the salon and galley areas. The settee has a great sized table with room for everyone. The deeply cushioned settee is flanked with storage consoles and counter space for essential items. Opposite the settee is the interior helm and lots of wood cubbies to store items. A compact heater keeps the cabin warm and dry. A table for two next to it is a great place for an evening beverage. The galley is just a level down from the salon and has everything needed to enjoy preparing meals. A princess two-burner stove, microwave and built in fridge as well as tons of shelving and counter space makes this a well-appointed galley. Extra thick cushions are in the master v-berth stateroom, and a cavern berth below sleeps guests comfortably. Wood cabinets and dressers keep things neat and tidy. The head has a great hot shower and huge built in sink along a large countertop. Portholes keep everything fresh with warm ocean air breezing in.

 Engine and Mechanical:
New fuel tanks power the 1982 Nissan Diesel engines with a low 2900 hours on them. At 90 horsepower each, they are economical yet powerful enough to motor to a favorite fishing spot. The 60-gallon water tank provides plenty of fresh water for extended cruising. New batteries were purchased and installed this year.

 Electrical and Electronics:
Lonesome Dove has two helms, one interior and one topside. Two Garmin 720s GPS/plotters, A Garmin 720S radar and Raymarine depth Sounder as well as Standard Horizon VHF are all the tools needed to sail with confidence. The upper helm has a new canvas bimini and wrap around canvas on the rails. Store extra gear and shrimp pots, and enjoy the bench seating on a nice sunny day. If the weather gets a tad nippy, head down to the comfy interior helm and enjoy the view from there. The aft cockpit has plenty of rail room for down riggers and deck space for chairs and coolers. The bow has a great lounging deck and makes for a nice stately appearance. She has been all spiffed up, having had her bottom done just this year.

 Notes and Extras:
Lonesome Dove is a great option if an affordable family cruiser or live aboard is on the list. With all the comforts of home at an excellent price, this may be the best deal going. Give us a call to see all the possibilities of this Bayliner vessel.
