A RARE FIND! Now available, a 2003 Provincial 42 foot Pleasure Lobster boat. Made in Canada on the East coast by Provincial, the original single owner had her transported across country and she found her way here in Alaska. This is a rare opportunity to own a well crafted, sea worthy vessel. A semi displacement hull and single form fiberglass design as well as super craftsmanship renders La Nortena 2 an exceptional find.

 Interior:
Functional with touches of luxury is a great way to describe the interior of this well executed vessel. Dimond sea glass windows and doors allow for an unparalleled view. The galley is generous, with a large L shaped countertop, multiple storage cabinets, and a double stainless steel sink. A Seaward F 1200 11 gallon hot water tank holds plenty of warm water for washing up. The Tasco three burner stove with oven is matched with the Nova Kool 12/100 volt RFS fridge. A microwave is tucked overhead, saving the counter space for cooking. Across from the galley is a large dinette. Enjoy morning coffee in comfort. It also converts into a sleeping berth in the evenings. An additional cushy bench seat offers even more seating, there is plenty of room for friends and family. Even more storage under the seats means a well kept salon. Twin captains chairs face forward over the impressive bow. Below decks there is an extremely spacious private head with shower. Again, quality wood craftsmanship, a large countertop with a single stainless steel sink and the electric flush head makes for very nice accommodations. The main cabin has a gorgeous wood berth detail. A super thick mattress and sound muffling material renders this space ideally cozy. Storage under the bed in the form of handsome wood drawers is part functional, part art. The guest berth has over/under twins, with more attractive storage details. The entire boat is warmed with a Hurricane Hydronic 3045D heat source and two air conditioning units for those very warm days.

 Engine and Mechanical:
A single diesel Cummins 480 CE 2003 engine propels this stately vessel. Two 300 gallon fuel tanks, and a floscan fuel management system are just some of the great mechanical systems. A Northern Lights 10 KW genset, Outback 2000 watt inverter, three Lifeline non spill batteries and one 8D battery means plenty of power. Everything is exceptional clean and well cared for. An engine driven pump powers the steering and emergency water pump. A collection of alarm systems insures immediate notification of any disturbances.

 Electrical and Electronics:
La Nortena 2 has two helm options. Enjoy piloting this stable vessel indoors, or on sunny days, outdoors on the fly bridge. The navigational tools are as follows: A Raymarine RN300 Cmap NT plotter, Raymarine Pathfinder RL70C radar, Raymarine 265 depth sounder and Raymarine 230 VHF. A Command 1500 autopilot and compass finish off the group. Double ram hydraulic steering and Morse cable controls makes sailing a snap. A Vetus bow thruster insures perfect docking. Electric wipers,a spot light and two quartz deck lights are a nice added addition.

 Notes and Extras:
The remarkable craftsmanship on this vessel is not limited to the interior. The exterior is a true work of art. Bright white fiberglass with a snappy green trim, a hard topped fly bridge, a large cockpit, port side waterproof door that easily accesses the bow renders her a beauty to behold. Lots of storage in the cockpit and deck space is available for gear. A Nick Johnson Dingy Davit lowers the 10 foot Boss hard bottom dingy with a Mercury 15 HP motor. An Imtra Electric anchor winch is paired with a Rocna anchor and the appropriate amount of chain and rode for a vessel of this size. This style of vessel is extremely popular on the East coast. An article in a respected marine magazine goes on to speak highly of the Provincial Builders, noting the exceptional quality and craftsmanship as well as rugged seaworthiness. PassageMaker magazine states They have proven themselves to generations of seagoing men and women, and fit the rugged demands of these waters. La Nortena 2 Is sparkling clean, roomy, and luxurious with a complement of true functionality. Enjoy years of cruising in this stately vessel.
