Just Reduced to $12,000. Want a project - this one is for you, good bones, just needs some love. Manitou, a Robert Finch Design Islander 30 is a solid cruiser. She features a 5ft draft fin keel with spade rudder making for quick turns. She can handle rough seas with her 8230 lb. displacement and a ballast of 3130 lbs. that supports her 450 ft2 of Sail area. She comes from a heritage of solid sailing vessels that have made their way all around the world.

The teak interior has a classic feel with curved bulk heads in the main saloon and classic layout with V-berth forward. Moving back you find a manual head and sink with sliding curtain. The main cabin offers classic seating on both sides and is heated with diesel forced air and a backup electric register. The wall mounted kerosene lantern also helps to give the cabin a warm glow on cold nights. The port galley is set up for cooking underway and features a stove sink and refrigerator. To starboard there is a ventilated storage locker and a cozy single berth just aft. When not sailing you she have the option of a Volvo 13 hp. and a 9.9 Johnson Outboard. The outboard is set up on a lift mount to reduce drag when sailing

 On Deck:
In the cockpit she offers forward facing binnacle with compass and hand laced wheel steering. The helm is within easy access to her jib lines and her main is conveniently placed out of the way on an aft cockpit traveler.

 Engine and Mechanical:
When not sailing you she have the option of a Volvo 13 hp. and a 9.9 Johnson Outboard. The outboard is set up on a lift mount to reduce drag when sailing

 Electrical and Electronics:
Her electrical is set up with 30amp shore power as well as start and house battery.

 Notes and Extras:
Manitou s owner has not been able to use or give her the attention she deserves and wants her to go to someone who will have the time to enjoy her. This is a good opportunity to own a classic sailing vessel with solid bones that comes from a long heritage of classic boats. With a little love she will take you anywhere.
