GREAT DAY SAILER! This custom 27 foot Roberts design pilothouse sailing vessel is the perfect sailing starter vessel. Whether going for a day sail or a weekend away, this well-maintained custom built vessel is economical and affordable.

 Interior:
The interior on this lovely sailing vessel is typical of most sailboats as in it is compact, well-crafted and has beautiful teak details. The galley has a Shipmate propane stove and oven, an icebox, a stainless steel single sink and plenty of storage built in under the sink and along the sides of the vessel. Blue accents in both the countertop and cushions complement the wood details. The single head has a manual toilet. The two 40 gallon water tanks ensure plenty of fresh water. The main salon has built-in bench cushion seating with a wonderful wood table, perfect for an evening of card playing with friends. The vessel sleeps two easily. Portholes and an overhead hatch allow the light to flood the main salon and an Sig Marine propane heater staves off any chill. Storage runs throughout the boat keeping everything neat and tidy.

 Engine and Mechanical:
The single Volvo 1985 diesel 10 hp engine with just 1200 hrs. on it motors this great little day sailer. With a top speed of 6 knots and a cruise speed of 4 knots, this is a very economical way to travel. Hydraulic steering made by Volvo makes it easy to maneuver in any seas. Two 40 gallon aluminum fuel tanks and one LPG tank allow for extended cruising.

 Electrical and Electronics:
The exterior pilothouse helm has a nice quantity of navigational equipment. A Lowrance Elite 5HDI GPS, Kenyon depth sounder, a Standard Horizon VHF along with a belt drive autopilot is a nice navigational package.

 Notes and Extras:
In addition to the economical engine this vessel has three sails in good condition. A main, storm jib and a roller furling Genoa provide a nice choice for different sailing conditions. The winches are Lewmar and the rigging is in great condition. Sale covers protect your sailing investment in a bright snappy blue color. She was pulled in 2014 and serviced, with new bottom paint and her bright white fiberglass hull shines with wax. This is a very nice starter sailing vessel or perfect for someone wanting to downsize. The pilothouse design is excellent for Alaska weather, enjoy the outdoors without getting soaked. We would love to show you this well designed and maintained sailing vessel, contact us today.
