Tons of counter space and storage is great for prepping meals and cleanup. A 5.0 cubic freezer holds the days catch for meals later. A Toyo diesel heater keeps everything warm and dry. Indoor/outdoor wall to wall carpeting is easy to maintain and soft underfoot. The single spacious head has an electric toilet and offers a hot shower with tub.  Engine and Mechanical:
Twin 1977 Chrysler 200 HP Diesel engines propel Damn Square. Easy access hatches make checking the mechanicals a snap. Approximately 3600 hours are on each engine. A 300 mile range means loads of extended exploring. Cruising at 12 knots, upon reaching the desired destination use the McMurry electric winch to lower the Bruce anchor with 250 feet of chain and 200 feet of rode. Too rainy to explore?  Electrical and Electronics:
The interior helm sports a Furuno radar, Icom VHF, Si Tek CVS-106MKII and compass. Storage for charts and other navigational equipment is built in for easy access.

 Notes and Extras:
The seaworthiness of the "CRUISE-A-HOME 40" hull has been proven for over eight years under the toughest offshore ocean conditions. The hull has a deep-V entry with full length longitudinal strakes and reverse chines plus deep-V keel. These features provide easy entry and riding characteristics with safer, more comfortable operation. All exposed surfaces of the "CRUISE-A-HOME 40" are extra- heavy molded fiberglass to weather open moorage and provide longer, carefree upkeep. She has been pulled every two years and had her bottom attended to and new zinc's. The decks are huge, the bow deck measuring 10.6 X 5 feet the stern deck 11X6 feet in addition to a swim deck. Included is a aluminum pot puller with electric 12v motor. A ladder leads to the upper roof deck, which is great for storing extra gear and kayaks.
