JUST REDUCED TO $54,900. Nothing says Fisher sailboat more than the distinctive rounded hull design. A very popular ketch motor sailor, we now are offering a 1974 Fairways Marine Fisher 30 foot motor sailer. It has a newer engine, a really nice electronics package and a great set of sails in wonderful condition.

 Interior:
Fisher sailboats have a unique interior design. The pilot house where the helm is found is also the beginning of the interior. Bench seating offers a comfortable place to chat with the captain while sailing. Continuing below decks is where the main salon and sleeping quarters are found. Beautiful teak details as well as clever storage options abound. The galley has a Force 10 stove and oven combination, icebox and expansive counter space. There is a nifty built-in cupholder as well as a full-size pantry. Opposite the galley is a dinette with bench seating. Comfortable dark blue fabric cushion covering looks inviting as well as soft. This is important as it converts into a sleeping area come evening. The V-berth sleeps two which is also sporting thick comfortable cushions. Again there is clever storage options everywhere. Built-in shelving, and net hammocks provide plenty of places to store items that keep the cabin neat and tidy. A marine manual head with a nice sized vanity and more of the considerable storage found throughout the boat makes it seem like one is at home. Both hot and cold water are available. A Webasto diesel furnace keeps everything warm and cozy. Matching curtains cover the portholes for added privacy. Enjoy listening to the Sony AM/FM CD stereo while preparing dinner and discussing the day on the water.

 Engine and Mechanical:
A single Yanmar 55 hp diesel engine with approximately 1400 hrs. on it is the secondary power source. The seller believes that the engine was installed in 2009. The main power, of course, is the sails. Included are tan bark color sails, a jib, mizzen. and main sail. Also included is a Furlex 200 S Roller Furling and new sail covers. Lazy jacks for the main also a nice feature. This particular Fisher model is one of the most popular and is considered exceptionally robust regardless of the seas. It's spacious enough for a family to sail comfortably but small enough to single hand.

All vessels need good electronics and this sailboat has a nice assortment. A Furuno GP-32 GPS, GS 172 C plotter, Furuno monochrome radar, ICOM VHF, NECO autopilot, 160 C depth sounder and Hornet Sailing Monitor ,Wind Speed & Direction Instruments.
