JUST REDUCED TO $37,900! Tug Willie, a Ranger Tug R-21 is not a just cute little boat but one of the most practical and economical little pocket cruisers on the market today. You will be amazed at all the amenities she packs in such a compact trailerable package.

When you step into her bright cabin you will see she has everything you need for a comfortable day or even overnight cruising adventure. To starboard sits a nicely laid out helm where the captain can either stand or sit on a cleverly designed fold away helm seat. Just forward you will find a comfortable little v-berth to snuggle into for the night or just an afternoon snooze. It has two classic brass portholes and a great overhead hatch for light and plenty of fresh air. Hidden under the v-berth center cushion is a Manual Head with 7.5gal holding tank and macerator. To port you find a first mates seat that can be moved to reveal a compact but surprisingly complete galley. A stainless steel sink is supplied with 10gal of fresh water. To warm up a hot drink or even a one pan meal you have a Kenyon Kiss stove. Cold items can be kept fresh in the bar sized Nova Cool R1600 12v Refrigerator. While underway on those cold days a Heater Craft off engine heating system keeps the cabin warm and dry. For a little entertainment you have a Clarion CD, with iPod connection. Lace window covering, brass port holes, teak accents and a stylish mahogany wheel all blend together to create the kind of charm that will make you fall in love with this little tug.

 On Deck:
Walking out of the cabin you find a huge cockpit with a lot of space for fishing, pulling a crab pot or just lounging. She has ample storage all along the aft transom discreetly hidden under comfortable canvas covered seat with the addition of some convenient little cup holders. The cushion covered engine box can also serve as a seat or a work area and of course it has cup holders of its own. The cockpit and walkways forward have sturdy safety rails and hand holds. At the bow you will find a 10lb Bruce with the ground tackle fed into a below deck storage locker keeping her decks uncluttered. As you turn back you will notice that each of the three windows in her pilot house has its own windshield wiper so you have a clear view on those rainy days.

 Engine and Mechanical:
In the middle of her cockpit under a center seat, you will find a removable engine box that exposes her reliable little 30hp Yanmar 3YM30. With the engine box off you have complete access for engine inspection. Unlike other boats there are no acrobatic contortions required just to check the oil. This popular little Yanmar can push her along at speeds of 9.8 mph but most owners cruise very comfortably all day long at 6 or 7 and enjoy the scenery. She carries 18 gallons of fuel in a semi opaque and readily accessible fuel tank so you can always see just how much fuel you actually have. You may think that 18 gallons seem small but when Ranger 21 owner s measure fuel consumptions in pints vs gallons it starts to make a lot of sense.

 Electrical and Electronics:
At the dock your house and starter battery are charged at dock by a Pro Tech 1215i Battery charger. A West Marine 700W inverter offers AC power if you need it while underway or at anchor. Stepping up to the helm you find an electronics package that includes a Garmin 540S GPS/Chart plotter and a Standard Horizon 1500s VHF. You also find a Jabsco remote spotlight control that helps light your way when coming in after dark.

 Notes and Extras:
At the end of your day closing her up takes just a few snaps of her canvas window and a cockpit cover so she stays clean and ready for your next day on the water. When that day comes, and if you decide to explore some new cruising grounds her EZ loader trailer make getting there a breeze. This versatile little tug is one of those boats that never go out of style. It is the kind of boat you will look forward to gathering up you dog and a friend and setting off for an enjoyable day or even a night or two on the water without all the drama often associated with larger more complex boats.
