A SWEEEET DEAL! Sea Miss is the perfect boat for someone who loves the classic lines, roomy and well laid-out interior and reliable brand of a Bayliner vessel, but who also might like a very light remodel project. At this price, you get the best of both worlds! While Sea Miss is very clean and ready for her new owners now, her great price gives you room in your budget to add your own special touches like new upholstery, or maybe new galley countertops or wallpaper. Sea Miss is a great all-around comfortable diesel cruiser for weeks-long vacations away, weekend fishing or as a long term live-aboard.

On the inside, Sea Miss has a lot of space and usability wrapped up in her 38 feet. Enter the main salon through the aft door and you immediately come across a huge and comfortable six-person dinette at your left that converts to a roomy sleeping berth for two at night. Large, bright windows surround the salon, letting every passenger keep their eye on the horizon while cruising. Some can be opened to let in fresh air, if it s needed. Behind the port side helm is a storage unit and counter. When the autopilot is running or the boat is still, the cushioned captain s chair can be moved to the dinette for an additional place setting. Down a few steps from the interior helm is a fully equipped galley with a Princess electric three burner stove/oven combo, an apartment-sized Norcold AC/DC refrigerator, and an inset Whirlpool microwave located conveniently above the stove. There are a lot of storage cubbies in the galley and more counter space than you normally find in a vessel this size, even with the large double stainless steel sink. With 135 gallons of Shurflo pressure fresh water, 11 gallons of hot water and a holding tank for 40 gallons, your water needs will be met for days. A key feature of the 3870 Bayliner model is her innovative mid-cabin floor plan with a double berth that extends under the salon sole. This is a perfect place to tuck the kiddo in at night, but also is perfect for friends. Or turn it into a storage area and small office the possibilities of this berth are endless. Adjacent to this berth is the larger of two heads with a sink, counter space, storage options and a large stand-in tub/shower combo. There is a surprisingly large master stateroom in the bow of Sea Miss that will accommodate a taller couple. The berth itself is a partial walk-around. There are plenty of built-in drawers and a hanging locker for clothes. Off the stateroom is the smaller head, also with a nicely sized sink, counter space and storage space. In all, Sea Miss can sleep 6 quite comfortably. For chilly weather, a Red Dot forced air diesel furnace in three locations and carpeting throughout the salon and sleeping areas will keep your nose and toes nice and warm.

 On Deck:
On the outside, her fabulous decking arrangement really sets this boat apart from the others at the dock. Her aft starboard side transom door gives you easy access to the fully-covered cockpit deck with enough room for several fishing friends, or even a small bistro set, while keeping the noggin out of the rain. High sides keep little ones securely on board, if you have young family members. Several pole holders are secured to the gunnels, as well as a convenient fish fillet table and two Penn Fathom-Master downriggers and a 10-inch SK 1003 12-volt pot puller. A custom davit pulls and secures the inflatable dinghy off the stern. Engine room access is through two deck floor hatches. Head up a short angled ladder and you ll be at the fly-bridge with seating for three. The lower deck cover makes a great storage area for larger toys like kayaks or paddle boards.

 Engine and Mechanical:
Recently serviced in 2014, two 1987 Hino 6 cylinder 175 horsepower diesel engines have kept Sea Miss happily cruising the waters. With a cruise speed of 10 knots at 2,000 rpm and two fuel tanks holding a total of 300 gallons, her 10 gallon per hour fuel usage gives you a nice cruising range of 275 nautical miles. Her starboard Twin ZF Hurth transmission was rebuilt in 2014. Hydraulic steering with Morse controls is at both helms. A 45-pound Navy anchor attached to a Muir Cougar electric winch and 150 of galvanized chain sits on the bow of Sea Miss. She also has a spare 10 kg anchor if needed.

 Electrical and Electronics:
When at the dock, she runs 30 amp service with a Professional Marine 60 amp IC battery charger and a large nine battery house bank, an IC Regulator and a Coleman Inverter. When underway, a breadth of electronics await you, including a Furuno GP-1650D GPS and chart plotter, a Raytheon 2403 Radar, AutoNav A-1500 autopilot system, a Si-Tex CVS-106 depth sounder, two VHFs, as well as an Air Phone at each helm. Bennett trim taps keep your cruising plane nice and level for your enjoyment, as well as the enjoyment of your passengers. Vessel entertainment is brought to you by an Audiovox stereo system and a Symphonic Sony DVD.

 Notes and Extras:
This Bayliner model has been exceptionally popular, as evidence by her 11-year run. She is built on a solid and proven foundation, with practical, well-thought-out interior layout and nice deck usage options. Sea Miss is a clean boat and perfect for entertaining, cruising, or for a year round home for you and your small family. Be sure to see her in person and imagine her possibilities!
