Step into Glacier Bear s warm mahogany trimmed main salon and you ll notice her sizable carpeted interior with plenty of seating. A raised convertible (and removable!) dinette with cushioned bench seating on the port side fits five diners with plenty of elbow room. Beyond the dinette is the main helm with bench seat for two. Along the starboard side are two cushioned chairs with a reading table, lamp, and literature rack in between. A simple reupholstering of the bench cushions with a couple of small coordinating toss pillows for the chairs will spruce this space up nicely. The most striking feature of the cabin s interior is the nearly uninterrupted 360-degree view you get from the numerous large picture windows. You ll see every breach of a whale, dive of an eagle, or splash of a seal near and far while underway on Glacier Bear. Down from the main salon a few steps is a fully functional galley with a generous-sized Norcold DC refrigerator/freezer and enough counter, sink and storage space to work with. There is pressure water, a 100-gallon tank and 11 gallons of hot water. The Princess Electric stove/oven combo with hood gives you three burners to work with for cooking dinner, as well as an oven to bake cookies for dessert. A microwave is located above the refrigerator, but is still within easy reach. Beyond the galley are two staterooms and a single head with venting window, a comfortable marine toilet, large hand sink, and a separate full shower. The starboard stateroom has one double berth and a single berth. The port stateroom has three single berths and a night table and lamp. Warmth and coziness comes from a Toyo forced air diesel furnace with thermostat controls. No need for stooping around in these areas. There s plenty of headroom to be had and you don t have to worry about bumping your noggin .

 On Deck:
Step aboard this sturdy sportfisher and you ll notice her custom aluminum extended swim deck has been transformed into a fishing deck with sturdy railing for reeling in that big one. A convenient cleaning table is attached to the railing and crab tank/fish hold is also a unique feature. From the fishing deck, walk through Glacier bear s transom door to her partially covered and spacious aft deck that makes a great entertaining area that is also suitable for deck furniture. The cockpit helm located here is for convenience in making quick navigation adjustments or berthing. She has a secure side decks with safety traction decking and rails. On the foredeck, a 10-foot inflatable dinghy is at the ready if you need it. Rocket launchers, two stainless steel outriggers, deck freezer and a deck wash down system round out Glacier Bear s outside fishing equipment package. A beautiful fly bridge is accessed from the aft deck by way of a small ladder. An aluminum top provides permanent protection from the elements and brand new side curtains were added this year. A rounded passenger bench in front of the impressive helm makes you feel like a seabird as the vessel skirts along the water while you gaze from high above.

 Engine and Mechanical:
Glacier Bear was re-powered in 2001 with twin 225 horsepower John Deere 6068 diesel engines, each with 1,815 hours on them. They have been very well maintained and are clean and in great running shape. She cruises at 18 knots and has a top speed of 22 knots. Three aluminum tanks totaling 450 gallons of fuel storage will take you several hundred miles before needing to refuel. A full bank of batteries with battery charger and a new Northern Lights 5KW genset installed in 2011 keeps things powered up and running smoothly. Once you reach your destination, you can use one of two anchors to settle in for an overnight stay. An Ideal electric winch will make setting the anchor and easy job for you.

 Electrical and Electronics:
All the electronics you need for finding that perfect fishing spot come with Glacier Bear. Three helms stations with gauges, trim tabs, shifters and throttle controls give you three great ways to navigate this beautiful vessel. Electronics at the main helm include a Garmin 3210 GPS, Sitex t-70 radar, Uniden VHF, Garmin 3210 depth sounder, Ritchie Compass, and a Benmar marine auto pilot. Fly bridge electronics include a Furuno 1623 radar, standard VHF and Rytheon V720 depth sounder. For those dark days, the search light might come in handy for a multitude of purposes. The salon also has a Dual Electronics MXDM51 stereo receiver with AudioSource speakers and an Insignia television.

 Notes and Extras:
Built in Bellingham, Wash., Uniflite's are a popular northwest native brand and known for strong, durable construction and this gal has been well cared for and is dependable and capable of handling rough water conditions. Glacier Bear is a great cruising boat with big interior. Set up for serious long pleasure fishing trips, she d make a terrific charter vessel for fishing or multi-day sightseeing.
