Orca Point is a well respected Munson Pack-Cat Landing Craft. Her catamaran hull is designed specifically to provide stability during loading and moving your cargo plus the buoyancy you need when lifting heavy loads from the sea floor. Good fuel efficiency and a comfortable ride round out some of the attributes of her patented hull design.

 Interior:
Although she is a work boat she is equipped with plenty of comforts for skipper, crew and passengers. The 4 person settee and a starboard side seat for 2 provide a comfortable place for 6 to ride along with the captain. A head with a 15 gal holding tank, 20 Gals of water along with forced Diesel heat provide crew with a full range of comforts. The helm features a shock absorbing captain s seat that gives added comfort on the already soft ride provided by the cat hull. Electronics are position high so as not to impede the skippers view.

 On Deck:
When it time to beach and load cargo she is outfitted with a rugged 7' 6" wide drop bow ramp door This give you full loading access to the enormous front freight deck that is 10/1 wide by 18' 6" long. On deck she supports an overbuilt 3 aluminum pipe davit with Trakker 12-volt drum winch with 3/16 6x19 stainless steel cable, sheaves, blocks etc. for operating the landing ramp door. She has working lights on both front and back deck along with a spotlight for approaching docks or beach when it gets dark. She is equipped with transom mounted tow bit allowing the versatility to use as a tug. For emergency she comes with an Elliot 8-person Inflatable Buoyant Apparatus pack.

 Engine and Mechanical:
Her Twin 225hp Yamaha outboards let cruise efficiently at 26 with a top speed of 34. When loaded with 6000 to 7000 pounds she can maintain 14 knots depending on sea conditions. 300 gallons of fuel give you the kind of range you will need. You will find her catamaran hull design helps her jump up on plane quickly without the bow rise you find in mono hulls. When on the move she offers an efficient, smooth and stable ride. This is a result of the 2 deep V hulls and the resulting center tunnel that extend the full length boat. This combination basically lets you ride on a cushion of air.

 Electrical and Electronics:
She comes with a fully equipped electronics package based on the popular Furuno GP-1850 and Furuno 1731 Radar. Redundant VHF radios provide your communications.

 Notes and Extras:
Orca Point has spent the past years in service for a remote resort. Now this heavy duty commercial grade landing craft is available for her next tour of duty. This kind of vessel just does not come along every day. As the new owner, you can put her in service today and with proper maintenance and updates to her engines and safety equipment she will provide many years of dependable commercial or private use.
