STABLE, FAST AND A PERFECTLY DESIGNED WORKBEAST! Originally from Iceland, Gaski boats are known for being rugged and strong and Grizzly is a tough bear of a boat. This vessel was designed as a fast fishing boat, but she d also make an excellent work boat. As a fishing boat, Grizzly works best as a gillnetter, longliner or crabber. Because of the large deck and the ability to pack a load below and above decks, Grizzly would also be a good choice for a remote construction project or mining site. If you need a versatile and speedy day work boat, you need to make an appointment today to survey Grizzly in person.

Grizzly s interior is small and functional, leaving more hull space devoted to her oversize deck. She was given a fresh coat of paint after her refit in 2014. A comfortable, adjustable captain s chair sits at the interior helm. A padded guest seat sits on the port side. Sliding side windows let in fresh air if the cabin gets stuffy. The forward raked windshield encourages water runoff and reduces glare from the instruments while cruising at night and glare from the sun during the day. The cabin door is solid, watertight and has a raised threshold, so when the weather is rough, the sea will stay outside where it belongs.

 On Deck:
Most of Grizzly s 32 feet are devoted to its large working deck. Her hull was painted in 2014 and new decks and fish holds were added that same year. A 12-inch stainless Hydro-Slave line hauler on an aluminum davit boom stretches over the starboard side just behind the cockpit. Her fish hold is roomy and insulated, keeping your catch fresher and, thus, improving your earning capability. Grizzly boasts a greater carrying capacity than other vessels of comparable size. When the vessel is rigged for long lining, all work is performed at the ideal working height.

 Engine and Mechanical:
A powerful single 430 horsepower Cummins diesel engine easily powers a fully-loaded Grizzly through any kind of chop and will get you to the fishing grounds quickly. Grizzly was repowered in 2013 and her new Remanufactured engine and has a light 477 hours on it. She boasts a top speed of 20 knots with a fuel tank of 180 gallons. Her cruising speed is 16 knots at 2,200 rpm. A dripless shaft seal keeps Grizzly s clean engine compartment free of seawater and a wet heat exchange exhaust keeps it cool. When fully loaded, this vessel can take up to a 70 degree lean without taking water into the engine compartment.

 Electrical and Electronics:
When it s time to leave the dock and find the fish, you ll be glad to have the Furuno FCV663 color video depth sounder at your main helm, along with an Icom VHF. Grizzly s throttle is electric and both the inside helm and the cockpit offering hydraulic steering and engine controls. Quality Bennett trim tabs will give you the best ride possible. Low oil, high temperature and high water alarms will keep your vessel safely operational. A Cobra 400 watt inverter provides outlets to keep your small electronics powered up on the go. When docked, 30 amp shore power does the job. The large LED light bar on the outside cabin roof will keep the deck nicely lit during dark winter workdays. If you need to set the 33 pound Bruce anchor, an electric winch and 230 feet of chain and line should do the job.

 Notes and Extras:
Gaski commercial fishing boats are found fishing worldwide. Their deep keel planning hull with hard chine coupled with a patented stabilizing system provides greater stability and minimizes rolling, even when fully loaded. This stabilizing system is unique among high performance work boats and greatly improves working conditions on board. Gaski owners describe the boat as a "dry ride" and as a hull that can take any wave type with ease. Its finer entry minimizes the amount of water pounding the often happens at high speeds. Grizzly is a unique business opportunity for the right buyer, whether you operate her as a fishing vessel, a small cargo transport, or a science vessel, etc. But she won t last long, so call today!
