A STEAL OF A DEAL! AFFORDABLE ALUMINUM SPORTFISHER! This is a great opportunity for a first-time or seasoned boat owner who loves the open water and fishing with a few friends. Most of EagleCraft s design was devoted to functionality and drivability with the Talon model, but comfort has not been overlooked where it s needed. Easy care aluminum, huge deck, two helms, zippy handling, clean and warm cabin with easy overnight capabilities you ll be a happy captain with this vessel.

Behind this Talon s sturdy aluminum door is a bright, clean and surprisingly roomy cabin in soothing hues with attractive teak accents. To your right is a functional galley with a single burner Origo alcohol stove, a small refrigerator, and a stainless steel sink. There is enough counter space to make sandwiches for several pals and plenty of storage for dishes and food and drinks. The 12-gallon water capacity will keep your sink operational for the trip. Beyond the galley is the interior helm with a plush captain s chair with armrests. The port side of the cabin is dedicated to a four-person dinette that also converts to a double berth. Large drawers built into the dinette s cushioned bench seats offer great storage options. A v-berth in the bow sleeps two and doubles as a head with a portable toilet and privacy doors. Two large sliding cabin windows let in the fresh air during warm days; a forced air diesel furnace keeps the cabin warm at night.

 On Deck:
Embark this vessel via the starboard side swim deck and a step-through section of the railing. The non-skid foredeck, gunwales and deck sole will keep your feet steady whether standing on the main deck or assisting with docking. The large roomy cockpit is equipped with an aluminum davit with an electric Safe-T pot puller. Sturdy high railing, storage pockets, footholds, and a couple of rod holders are perfect features for this sport fisher. An outside helm is located here for easy maneuvering. Grab rails along the cabin top makes this area a great place to tie down a dinghy, crab pots, or other equipment. These rails extend to the bow as well.

 Engine and Mechanical:
Powered by a single 2004 Volvo Penta KAD44 260 horsepower diesel engine, this Talon has a cruising speed of 22 knots and a top speed of 30 knots. With just 550 hours of use, the engine is barely out of the brand new phase, but has been nicely broken in. Access the engine through a large deck hatch that is flush to the cockpit floor; there s no engine doghouse taking up deck space. This vessel runs about 10 gallons per hour. With her 100 gallon aluminum fuel tank, you ll enjoy a nice long time on the water before refueling. The Volvo 290 duoprop will give her better grip in the water for faster planing and sharper turns while keeping the revs low. A 9.9 horsepower 2004 Yamaha a kicker engine comes with this package and adds flexibility to your fishing options. Both helms have hydraulic steering with electronic controls. The outside helm has an extremely handy kicker remote control. Anchoring is easy with a Maxweld Freedom electric winch hooked up to a 15-pound Bruce anchor with 330 total feet of rode. Also comes with a spare anchor and tackle.

 Electrical and Electronics:
Her interior helm is well laid out with a place for everything. Dual windshield wipers let you hunker under cover and keep dry while you navigate rough weather with a clear view. The helm offers a Lowrance LCX-15 GPS, depth sounder and chartplotter and an Icom IC-M402 VHF. Bennett trim tabs, electric wipers and a cabin fan are a few of this Talon s interior helm features. She also has a Rotary battery selector switch, circuit breakers, Volvo alternator and engine safety alarms for low oil and high temperature. The 30 amp shore power supports you at the dock and a standard wall outlet in the cabin behind the captain s chair supports your domestic power needs.

 Notes and Extras:
This vessel is turnkey and ready to go. Her bottom was redone in 2015 and she comes with an inflatable dinghy, as well as a life ring. Built in Campbell River, British Columbia, EagleCraft aluminum boats are known for their hardiness in Northwest waters and weather and are a well-established name in B.C.
