JUST REDUCED TO $59,000 -- READY TO EXPLORE! The Sundowner 30 was made for cruising escapes. With their raked windows and salty profile, they are considered by many to be the real "head turners" of all the tug trawlers and this well maintained example is no exception. Sea Star is as beautiful inside as she is outside and she s ready to explore your favorite coves and passages.

Sea Star has port and starboard sliding doors at the pilothouse helm, but the main entry is via the aft deck. Once you enter the main salon from the stern, you ll notice entire interior space on Sea Star is done in beautiful teak wood, giving her a warm nautical ambience. The salon is made up of a spacious galley and a dinette that converts to a double berth. The fully functioning galley features a Waeco refrigerator, a natural gas three-burner stove/oven combo, double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water, and a generous amount of counter space and additional storage. Move forward and up a few steps and you will find yourself in the raised pilothouse with an oversized bench seat at the helm station. If you need it, the bench seat could serve as an additional berth. On a warm day, the pilot house doors on either side can be opened to let a cooling breeze in. A few steps down and forward of the pilot house is the manual head with a Jabsco marine toilet, shower, home-like sink, and plenty of counter space and storage. Seventy gallons of freshwater and a 30-gallon waste tank are perfect size for your special trip. Across the hall from the head is a hanging locker and a large v-berth is situated in the bow. You ll notice that every inch of this vessel is designed for maximum use, especially when it comes to providing storage options. Sea Star also has over six feet of headroom throughout her floor plan, a great feature if you don t like bumping your noggin. While underway, HeaterCraft Engine Heat keeps the entire cabin warm.

 On Deck:
The walk-around deck style of this trawler yacht is a popular vessel feature. This allows for numerous activities to take place on the deck simultaneously. Tall railing along the bow of Sea Star gives passengers a great place to lean on when holding binoculars or fishing rods. There s even enough room in the bow for a deck couple of deck chairs, making this a great spot for sunbathing or reading a book. Or take those chairs to the stern deck and join with friends for some sunset cocktails. Her stately lines, teak decks and trim, and her bright paint are all in well maintained condition. She also comes with a manual Cannon downrigger and you ll find an eight-foot Mercury Inflatable and a two horsepower Honda kicker attached to her stern.

 Engine and Mechanical:
If you re antsy to take a little cruise on Sea Star, just pump a some diesel into 150 gallon fuel capacity tanks and nudge her dependable 1986 Yanmar 100 horsepower into action. She ll gracefully motor along at 8 knots, burning only a half-gallon of fuel per hour. There are just 2,334 hours on this well-maintained engine, meaning she still has many good years ahead of her. Her wet heat exchange exhaust system helps with that. Anchoring is made simple with her Lewmar electric winch attached to a 28.5 Seahook anchor with 50 feet of galvanized chain and 250 feet of line. A bow thruster helps you maneuver her softly to the dock.

 Electrical and Electronics:
When Sea Star is dockside, a 30 amp shore power connection is available. A Xantrex battery charger keeps house batteries sparked and ready to go. While underway, power is supplied by a Xantrex inverter. The interior helm boasts an impressive array of buttons and electronic gadgets for well-informed navigating. A standard Horizon VHF and a Raymarine C120 GPS, radar and depth sounder system also come in handy. To keep things lively, listen to some fun music on your Kenwood KDC-225MR Sirius-ready AM/FM/CD player and interior speakers.

 Notes and Extras:
Sundowners look like small tugboats and have a tug's personality. However, they are specially designed for pleasure cruising. The stable tug design means easy handling, well suited to the Pacific Northwest. One person can easily maneuver her to and from a dock. Call us today to see this fun vessel for yourself!
