HUGE DECK, BIG AND BRIGHT SALON! This Tolly is a rugged tank of a vessel with great bones and priced well below market value. A perfect family size boat, however, Kona Dream can easily fit the needs of any recreational boater. She s got great bones just a little lipstick and rogue and this vessel becomes whatever you want her to be. But at this price, she won t last long!

 Interior:
The voluminous and bright main salon is a remarkable feature of this Tolly. When you enter the main salon from the aft deck through the double glass sliding doors, the doorway glass and large cabin windows surrounding the salon make this area seem unusually open and spacious. Wall-to-wall carpeting and a long settee to your left give this space a very homey, living room-like feel. A side table with drawers is a perfect place to store your favorite travel games. Top it off with a pretty reading lamp and you ve created a very cozy home away from home. There s even plenty of floor space for a couple of small ottomans, if you like to kick your feet up. A galley is situated port side and is complete with a Dickinson stove, mid-size Norcold refrigerator and a double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water. A decent amount of cabinetry will keep your dishes and utensils tucked away neatly. Your water needs will be met by the 128-gallon water tank, 6-gallon hot water tank and a holding tank that can bear 30 gallons. Beyond the galley is the interior helm with cushioned captain s chair. The large dash area is an ideal place for navigation electronics, as well as entertainment electronics. Full window coverings create privacy when you need it and a Toyo diesel furnace will keep all interior areas toasty warm on chilly days. A few steps down into the bow are two staterooms and a full head. Two bunk bed-style single berths are in the first stateroom. An angled double berth is found in the bow stateroom along with oodles of storage cabinets and drawers. In all, she sleeps five very comfortably. Kona Dream s head includes a separate shower, manual head, a stainless steel hand sink, and ample counter space and storage options that will keep your journey comfortable and tidy.

 On Deck:
Embark Kona Dream via her wide swim platform and stern transom door. With nearly 90 square feet of space, the cockpit is large enough for serious fishing pursuits, summer parties or whale watching excursions. A hydraulic davit is positioned on the port side. The flybridge is up a short angled ladder and is huge with plenty of space for outdoor furniture, friends, family, coolers, equipment and more. This vessel has a lot of outdoor space.

 Engine and Mechanical:
Two Detroit 8.2, 250 diesel engines power this lady through the water at a cruising speed of 10 knots. With only 946 hours on starboard and 1,061 hours portside, these diesel engines have years and years of cruising left in them. Two 150-gallon aluminum fuel tanks and a fuel usage of 10-12 gallons per hour give you plenty of range between pit stops. An Ideal electric winch, 300 feet of chain and rode and a 25-pound Dansforth anchor insures safe anchoring.

 Electrical and Electronics:
Kona Dream s main helm is out of the weather and located in the main cabin and surrounded by huge windows. A significant assortment of electronics delivers all the tools you need to navigate Alaska s coves and inlets with confidence: Furuno GP-32 GPS, Furuno 1715 radar, Furuno FCV-667 depth sounder, and an ICOM IC-M502 VHF. An Airmar thru-hull transducer will help you find those big schools of fish. The three forward-facing windows all have windshield wipers for superior visibility. When the sun is out, the upper helm is a perfect place from which to pilot Kona Dream. When at the dock, plug into the 30 amp power.

 Notes and Extras:
This Tollycraft model is one of those rare boats whose good reputation has endured over the years. Introduced in 1974, she enjoyed a long production run and remains popular today because of her sturdy construction, practical layout, and low maintenance demands. Her relatively heavy displacement and sharp entry allow the Tollycraft 37 to handle adverse sea conditions with confidence. Kona Dream is a great value, priced below market. This is the perfect boat for someone who would like a little fixer-upper project, but doesn t want to get more complicated than adding some new wall paper, perhaps some new carpet, and a coat of paint here or there. Call us today and see her for yourself!
