JUST REDUCED TO $199,000! 1972 54' Delta Marine perfect for charter or long range cruising. 50' Delta Marine hull that was lengthened 4' for additional cockpit space. Current owner has kept her in beautiful condition with constant upgrades and maintenance. Vessel package includes "everything" including all fishing gear, spare parts, tools, galley appliances, kitchen utensils, bedding, linens, and more. Proven Alaska charter boat used for multi-day trips. She has been used for the last 16 years as a yacht making the trip to Alaska every summer. Twin 300 HP Lugger mains with standup engine room, 6 KW and 10 KW house and cruise generators. 1000 fuel and 500 water for extended range and cruising. Recently refit forward stateroom completed by American Tug in La Conner, Washington. Two Stateroom layout with berthing for 6 including two bunks in the fly bridge. Two marine heads with one that has a full-size standup shower.

Enter the main salon of Hemming Bay by way of the beautiful wood door off the aft cockpit. Her beautiful warm teak interior and wall-to-wall carpeting welcome you inside. Table seating for six people is located to your left. Along the starboard wall is a comfortable settee that provides seating for another two or three adults. A buffet storage unit separates this seating from the galley. Full-sized appliances in galley include the refrigerator, a microwave, and electric four-burner stove/oven. A TV/DVD player is also located in the galley. A simple head with a commode and hand sink is conveniently located here as well. A 500-gallon water tank will keep your water needs comfortably met. Throughout this main area, there are drawers and drawers and drawers for neatly storing all the necessities you need for a few days of travel. Huge windows throughout let the sunlight flood in as you connect with the nature around you. Take a few steps up to the pilothouse helm. Two raised and plush captain s chairs make a long journey quite enjoyable. Another settee is situated behind and is a great place for one person to lay and read a book or for a few people to join the captain while underway. Port and starboard sliding doors are a nice way to enjoy the breeze of a warm summer day. The forward sleeping quarters is comprised of a full beam forward stateroom a starboard over and under stateroom, and the second head with a stand-up shower. The main stateroom was beautifully redone by American Tug. In all, Hemming Bay can comfortably sleep six.

 On Deck:
The wide swim deck and aft transom door lead you on board Hemming Bay. She was extended from 50 to 54 feet which gives her a much more usable aft cockpit for fishing, sunbathing, socializing, or even for a patio garden. Her decks are fiberglass over wood and in beautiful condition. A unique feature to this vessel is her full walk-around deck with covered side decks that give Hemming Bay a slight romantic ambiance. Even in misty weather, you can lean on the gunwale and gaze out to the distant horizon or into the deep sea while staying dry. A short ladder from the cockpit takes you to an amidships deck with a davit, a dinghy with Yamaha kicker, rod storage holders, and a chest freezer. This is also an excellent place to store a kayak or two, some crab pots, or a couple of coolers. The fly bridge is located up a couple of steps from here and features a new full canvas enclosure.

 Engine and Mechanical:
Full Height standup engine room that is well lit and comes with a full set of spares, tools, and extras. Powered with twin 300 HP Lugger diesel with 8509 hours on the port engine and 10,279 hours on the starboard engine. Approximately 1 Nautical mile per-gallon burning 10-12 GPH at 10 knots. 1000 gallons of fuel in 2 tanks gives her very good range before looking for a fuel dock. Starboard engine is equipped with the troll valve. Two diesel generator sets. AC power away from the dock is provided by a 6 KW cruise generator and 10 KW house generator. Lots of room to work in the engine room including a Craftsman tool box, small work bench and drawers full of spare parts, filters, belts, and hoses.

 Electrical and Electronics:
Two station controls Morse cable controls at the main helm and in the elevated pilothouse. The main helm has everything you need for a successful voyage including a Comnav autopilot with remote, Echo tech chart plotter, Furuon depth sounder, Nobletec navigation software installed on a laptop, and Furuno 48 mile radius radar. She has two gensets, 6kw and 12kw generators, and a 3,000 watt inverter. The main stateroom has a stereo and TV and another stereo is located in the main salon for with separate stereo receiver and DVD player.

This classic yacht is a well maintained and elegant and can fit the needs of a wide variety of boaters. She has been an Alaska multi-day charter boat for many years and has recently been used as a private yacht that goes to Alaska every summer.
