Solstice is the highly sought after 22 classic SeaSport. With her 8 6 beam, cruising comforts and sea handling capabilities of her deep v hull, she has become the well known example of a trailer sport fishing vessel. She is perfect for the skipper and crew looking for a compact yet versatile boat that is easy to trailer and then spend the weekend cruising or fishing without the dread of moving a monster boat home after a long weekend.

Her classic cabin layout offers and efficient and dry helm to starboard with great visibility provided by her covered forward windshield equipped with wipers on all windows. The center window opens for great ventilation. The port and starboard side window also open to increase ventilation and allow the single-handed skipper to simply reach out and lasso a cleat without having to leave the helm when docking. Just aft of the helm is a perfect little counter space to put a small camp stove and prepare your meals on the go. Just across to starboard is a comfortable convertible dinette to enjoy those meals, the view as a navigator or have a second bunk when needed. Forward you find a cozy V-berth with opening hatch providing more ventilation and light. With a day head conveniently hidden under the filler cushions on the bunk you have everything you need for overnight trips.

 On Deck:
Her cockpit provides plenty of space to move around and with a centered engine box you will have a central place to cut bait, have a picnic or just sit back and watch your lines. The simplicity of Twin Cannon Manual Down riggers make sure your lines are at the right depth and never fail due to corroded electrical connections. With 300 of brand new anchor rode along with 12 of chain and Danforth you have a simple and manageable ground tackle package.

 Engine and Mechanical:
Powered by a gas 275 HP Mercury Pro series and trim tabs you can expect to cruise at 24 while only burning 10 GPH and when needed she will top out at a 40. Her Volvo Penta Duo Prop Outdrive eliminates prop walk improves low speed close quarter handling making docking is a breeze. With only 150 hours her Volvo outd rive and the fact that her engine has 0 hours on her rebuild you are essentially getting a new power train that will give you many hours on the water rather than in the shop. With 77 Gallons of fuel you will enjoy a cruising range of about 100 miles. For trolling you appreciate her 15 hp Tohatsu kicker not only as a great trolling motor but as a get-home engine that can push you along as a reasonable clip.

 Electrical and Electronics:
She has a great electronics package that include a Furuno GPS /chart plotter/ GP-7000F. The fish finder function of the GP-7000F graphically depicts underwater conditions, such as fish schools and seabed. With an operating frequency of 50 and 200 kHz and a transmission power output of 600 Watts or 1,000 Watts you will have great visibility. The information can be displayed together with the course plot mode in split screen or by itself on a full screen which makes this unit a favorite for skippers looking for everything in one versatile and compact package. For communications, she is equipped with an Icom IC-M56.

 Notes and Extras:
Her twin axel EZ loader trailer allows you to tow straighter and provides more stability and less bounce at highway speeds. With Hydraulic Surge Disc Breaks, there is just no drama when running down the highway. Her Roller loading system makes getting her on and off the trailer at your favorite launch site a breeze. One of the emerging benefit to the trailer sailors is letting this little cruiser do double duty and serve as overnight campers at RV parks when making those longer road trips. If you are looking for something simple fun and versatile then Solstice is something you should be looking at.
