BEAUTIFUL, AFFORDABLE, ROOMY! If you are looking for a fabulous and affordable sailboat ownership experience, this Catalina 30 is a fabulous boat with which to start a new relationship. As a classic cruiser or day sailer, she has those beautiful lines you ve admired in other sailboats. And look inside her cabin; you ll be quite surprised the amount of space she offers. For a couple, she s actually quite functional and comfortable for extended trips. Aly Brie is in nice condition from a popular American-made and proven quality boat builder.

From the outside, this Catalina 30 is a sporty and compact sailer. But step into her cabin and you ll be pleasantly surprised at her secretly spacious interior. Enter Aly Brie s cabin via a door from the cockpit. Immediately to port is a generous galley that is within reach of the dining table, as well as the cockpit. It has a two-burner Hille Range propane stove/oven combo, two deep stainless steel sinks, a generous sized insulated top-loading ice box, and numerous drawers and lockers for storage. Two five-gallon LPG tanks serve the stove fuel needs. The neighboring convertible dinette with beautiful navy blue jacquard fabric is very roomy and seats four to five adults comfortably. The levered table lifts up and locks in place to expand the usability of the craft s interior. At night, it converts into a double sleeping platform. Along the starboard side of the main cabin is a long settee that seats another three adults or sleeps one. A navigation desk is aft of the settee and has space for chart storage below and the electrical panel, the Hanns-G flat screen TV, Jensen CD stereo system, and space for additional electronics built in above. A unique sleeping option on Aly Brie is nestled under the cockpit flooring in the stern. This is a perfect place to tuck away a couple of kiddos at night, or your canine crew members, so you don t have to give up dinette table space at night. In the bow you ll find a port side head with shower, Jabsco toilet, hand sink, storage locker and shower capabilities. Fifty-five gallons of pressure water and a 20-gallon holding tank serve the water needs for the head and galley. The v-berth for two has a privacy partition door, lighting fixtures and two cargo hammocks. Storage space about the interior of Aly Brie is abundant and accessible with numerous drawers and lockers throughout. A forced air diesel furnace keeps you and your guests comfortable when the weather is cool. You ll love the classic warmth and ambience that Aly Brie s teak interior creates.

 On Deck:
There is deck space aplenty on Aly Brie and her cockpit is big enough for the entire crew. The seats and seatbacks have the proper angles for comfort and they are actually long enough to nap on. Stainless steel handrails are mounted along the cabin top and the stern railing has a walk-through transom option and two fun raised observation seats. Several Scotty fishing pole holders are mounted to the aft railing. Pedestal steering is one of the features of the ergonomically correct cockpit that experienced skippers expect and all sailors appreciate. This package comes with a Maxxon 10-foot inflatable dinghy. The dodger canvass maintains the excellent visibility from the helm and really compliments the design and pleasing look of this vessel. It also offers protection for the helmsman and cockpit passengers if the bow is nosing through some chop.

 Engine and Mechanical:
When you re not riding the wind, Aly Brie is powered by a 1996 Universal/m-25 diesel 23 horsepower engine with 1,678 hours on it. She cruises at five knots at 2,200 rpm, carries 18 gallons of fuel, and uses about a half gallon per hour. The cockpit helm has wire cable steering and controls. Anchoring is provided by her Bruce 22 pound anchor on an electric winch and 330 feet of chain and rode.

 Electrical and Electronics:
Aly Brie comes with the electronics you need for safe navigation, including a Garmin 190 76 GPS, a Standard Horizon VHF, an Autohelm autopilot, Raytheon Depth Sounder and transducer. She has a Statpower 10 amp battery charger, an alternator and two 2017 house batteries. When at the dock, plug her in to the 30 amp shore power for your electric needs. Entertainment comes by way of the Hanns-G flat screen TV and Jensen CD stereo system.

 Notes and Extras:
The bottom on Aly Brie was recently done in July 2017. Catalina is known for building honest, sturdy boats that hold up to real world conditions, perform well and cost less to maintain. For Catalina owners, this means lots of extra value and enhanced sailing pleasure, with the added bonus of excellent resale value.
