JUST REDUCED TO $65,000! LOW REBUILD HOURS, LOTS OF DECK SPACE! This great 30-foot sport fisher has a successful history as a charter boat and is ready for a new life with you, either as a charter or as a great way to spend time with friends and family. She had extensive fiberglass rebuild of her cabin and deck in 2015, as well as a full rebuild of her engine reduction gear. She would be a great boat for Southeast or elsewhere in Alaska.

Sudsy is set up playing outside, with everything you need from her custom interior. Most importantly, she has Dickinson Bristol diesel heat and a marine heat pump to keep you warm while underway and during the day as you take a lunch break. Nearly just as important is the vessel head with an electric toilet for those urgent needs. In the center of the main cabin is a kitchen-like stainless steel sink for washing hands, mugs or other items. Twenty-five gallons of pressure water serves the toilet and sink. Below the sink is a nice sized Norcold 12v/110 refrigerator, great for storing chilled beverages, snacks or lunch bags. The Dickinson stove/oven combo is situated next to the sink and can offer hot beverages in the morning and hot meals later in the day. In the starboard stern corner of the main cabin is a large raised dinette that comfortably seats five to six adults. The L-shape means nobody has to ride facing backward, which helps sensitive tummies. Access to the engine is through the lift-up hatch that the table sits upon. Passengers are within conversation distance from the captain, who is perched on a raised, thickly-cushioned captain s helm seat. They can easily enjoy listening to his or her tales of Alaska lore, interesting facts about local wildlife, and history of the local area. Coat hooks provide easy-to-reach locations for coats, binoculars and canteens. Screened side windows let in fresh breeze when the weather is warm and the passengers are steamy. If needed, Sudsy also sleeps two in the v-berth.

 On Deck:
A large, full width swim deck leading to the wide aft transom door makes it easy for your guests to come aboard Sudsy from the port or starboard sides, or directly from the stern, depending on how you are docked. The deck is very well-suited for a group of folks to enjoy the day fishing the waters of Alaska. The large aft deck and the bow have enough space that bumping elbows will not be a problem, even with a bait boy darting around. Rod holders are welded on the railing all around the boat. In the bow, the v-berth cabin top can double as a great place to lean or sit when you need to rest your body for a spell. As your guests catch fish after fish, they can be filleted on the spot at the fillet table mounted to the starboard stern corner of the deck. A partial door overhand in the cockpit keeps rain from pouring into the cabin when the access door opens, or makes a nice quick place to dodge a cloudburst.

 Engine and Mechanical:
There is some great power behind Sudsy. In 1997, she was outfitted with a new reliable 1997 Volvo TAMD-63 370 horsepower diesel engine. In 2015, the engine was rebuilt and currently has just 228 rebuilt hours on it. She cruises at a comfortable 17 knots at 2,300 rpm, has a top speed of 21 knots and has hydraulic Ram steering. Boat Leveler Co. trim tabs create a comfortable ride with added fuel efficiency. The newer 2015 aluminum fuel tank carries a generous 185 gallons of diesel. Anchor down with a 22-pound Sea-Hook plow-style anchor tethered to 450 feet of chain and line.

 Electrical and Electronics:
The well-rounded navigation electronics package includes a Garmin 172c GPS and plotter, a Raytheon R-10x radar, a Furuno FCV-667 depth sounder and a Raytheon transducer. For communications, you have an Icom VHF/DSC and a Radio Shack TRC-499 CB radio. In 2015, she was outfitted with a new start battery. Sudsy has a high water bilge alarm and an electric bilge pump.

 Notes and Extras:
Rowson boats have well-built and proven hulls. In conjunction with Sudsy s custom recently-rebuilt fiberglass house and engine, she is ready for fun fishing trips. A copy of her Oct. 31, 2015 survey is available for you to look over. Call today to schedule a boat tour and imagine how she can continue a life of adventure with you.
