JUST REDUCED TO $35,000! (EXPIRED 8 PASSENGER COI VESSEL) Sierra Empress is a great classic Chris-Craft boat for someone looking to start or expand a charter business, or for a family looking to stretch their legs into a larger boat. She looks good for her age and still turns the heads of other captains as she cruises by. A copy of the 2014 survey is available for you to read.

 Interior:
Inside, the roomy cabin on Sierra Empress is illuminated by day by her wonderfully large windows. A straight galley stretches the length of the port side with a whole lot of counter space and drawers and drawers and drawers under the counter providing all kinds of storage space. The galley also has a stove, microwave, sink with pressure water, and a six cubic foot refrigerator to open your meal planning and preparation options. Along the starboard side of the cabin is a four-person dinette that converts to a double berth at night. The stand-up enclosed head is located down a short set of stairs between the dinette and the v-berth and has an electric marine toilet. Twenty-five gallons of fresh water and a 15-gallon holding tank serve your on-board water needs. The double v-berth with the chain locker and a cabin hatch is located in the forepeak and is separated from the main cabin by a privacy curtain. Throughout the vessel, there are various hanging lockers, cupboards, drawers and other storage areas, including a dozen roof fishing rod holders. During chilly weather outings, the forced air hydronic furnace keeps you toasty warm.

 On Deck:
Boarding the vessel from the teak swim deck and stepping over the transom is a large cockpit, which is ideal for fishing. Beneath the cockpit sole, there is a lazarette locker between the fuel tanks for storage. There are also two large removable hatches exposing the engine space. A locker with sliding doors is in the stern transom and five trolling rod holders keep you and your passengers hands from cramping. Side decks with railing lead forward for fishing, anchoring, and other uses. The vessel s operations center is from the fly bridge helm, which you access via the stainless steel safety rail and ladder from the cockpit. A storage locker is tucked beneath the pilot/companion bench seat. The fly bridge is protected by a canvas bimini top with stainless steel bows and a canvas and Isinglass enclosure. For those early mornings or late night hours at sea, cockpit floodlights illuminate the deck space. Two scuppers and a fresh/raw water wash down system clean the deck from the day s activities. A full cockpit canvas comes with this package and keeps your boat clean and ready for your next trip.

 Engine and Mechanical:
The power behind Sierra Empress is provided by her two NEWER 2014 US Marine Power 350 horsepower gas engines with only 800 hours on them. Cruise at a comfortable speed of 16 knots at 3,300 rpm. Her top speed is 26 knots. Not bad! She carries a total of 260 gallons of fuel in two aluminum tanks, so you can take some pretty long trips without needing to refuel. Three electric bilge pumps keep water from building up in her hull. A 28-pound West Marine anchor and Power Mate electric anchor winch with remote switch make anchoring a snap.

 Electrical and Electronics:
The electrical system on Sierra Empress has been rebuilt and the wiring is bundled and properly supported. She has a Guest battery charger, a Pro Watt 1700 inverter, and newer batteries (2016). Her navigation and communications electronics package is pretty robust and includes a Raymarine 215 DSC VHF, a Standard Horizon HX260S hand-held VHF-FM radio, a Standard Horizon depth indicator, a Raymarine radar and chart plotter, Standard Horizon Chart 150 GPS, and a Raymarine ST6002 autopilot. She also has electric a Dytek Sea Temperature Gauge, electric windshield wipers, and a Ritchie four-inch spherical magnetic compass. Of course, an electronics package isn t complete without something for your listening pleasure. Enjoy your favorite fishing and cruising music on her dual AM/FM/CD stereo with speakers on the fly bridge, as well as in the cabin. While at the dock, plug her into the 30 amp shore power for your electrical needs.
