TWO STATEROOMS, FIBERGLASS DECK, COMFORTABLE! Snow Bird is a well-kept, affordable and economical live aboard or long range cruiser. Perfect for a couple or a small family, this boat is very seaworthy and comfortable. She has been kept out of the water during the last 20-plus winters and had her bottom done in 2017; she looks great. Snow Bird is ready for a new owner to continue her story on the beautiful waters of the Pacific Northwest.

The quaint interior on Snow Bird starts at the teak sliding door from the aft deck, which is adorned with a lovely stained glass window of a puffin, a sea bird found around coastal Alaska. Step inside and the nautical teak interior stretches from floor to ceiling. Immediately to your left is a roomy U-shaped convertible dinette. By day, you can seat at least five around for a nice meal. At night, the dinette converts into a double berth. The cushions are in good condition; however, recovering them would really add your own special style to this space. To your right is a small storage area that has recently been used as an entertainment area, with a large flat screen TV mounted to the wall. Just beyond this feature is a bit of empty space that is large enough for a sizeable dog bed, a smaller recliner chair, or even a Christmas tree. The nearby Dickinson free standing diesel furnace keeps this area toasty warm on those bitter cold days. A large galley is forward and utilizes both the port and starboard sides. Starboard houses a generous apartment-sized Haier refrigerator, as well as a four-drawer built-in storage unit with plenty of space atop for the Sunbeam microwave. An L-shaped tile counter sits at port and has plenty of space for making big meals. A Magic Chef stove/oven combo is included in the setup and has a tile cover to extend your usable counter space. The double stainless steel sink is adorned with an arched faucet so filling that tall pot with water won t be a problem. Plenty of drawers and cabinet space, as well as cubbies for spices, hot mitts and whatever else, will help you keep your galley clean and clutter-free. The interior starboard-side helm lies beyond the refrigerator and features a raised captain s chair, a foot rest, a door to the starboard side deck and an expansive dash. The private quarters are a few steps down into the bow. The V-berth stateroom has a queen bed for two and hanging lockers, as well as drawers for storage. There is also a secondary stateroom with a single berth and cabinets and drawers for storage, and excellent place for the kiddo or you can convert this into an office space. Both sleeping areas have ceiling hatches for letting in fresh air or use as emergency escapes. The vessel s head is also located in the bow and is a generous size with plenty of knee room, as well as ample counter space. The separate stand-up shower is also a mini-bathtub, in case you have to soak something or wash a toddler or a salty dog. Six gallons of hot water and two 50-gallon water tanks serve your on board water needs. Throughout the cabin, window blinds or coverings provide the privacy you desire.

 On Deck:
There is a lovely amount of nice deck space on Snow Bird. Coming aboard is easy by way of the wide swim deck and stern centerline transom door. She has a nice partially-covered stern deck for fishing or hosting a small gathering of friends and family during nice weather. Pole holders and a gunnel-mounted fillet table open her up for fishing adventures as well. If you find yourself fishing into the dark hours, there is plenty of lighting astern. The covered side decks give those with lines in the water some shelter from rainy weather. When the sun is shining, the bow has oodles of room for getting a tan while fishing with your pals. The stateroom cabin top makes a great place to sit and chill. Access the huge fly-bridge via a ladder from the stern deck. There are storage options in the fly bridge and you could probably store a kayak or two up there as well. Rocket launchers give you a place to store your fishing poles. Safety railing keeps rowdy passengers from falling overboard. There is also dinghy storage available. One of the nicest features of Snow Bird s deck is the fact that it is not teak, but fiberglass. This means you don t have to pour blood, sweat and tears into keeping up a tough-to-maintain teak deck. Another great feature is the high gunnels all around the boat, especially important you have small children or pets enjoying the boat with you.

 Engine and Mechanical:
Her original and reliable 120 horsepower Lehman diesel engine powers this boat and has 3,927 hours on it. This engine is extremely fuel efficient, it uses about 2.5 gallons per hour at her cruise speed of 7 knots. Bennett trim tabs help maximize her fuel efficiency. Two steel fuel tanks hold a total of 180 gallons of fuel, so you can really travel a nice distance before needing a refuel. Her four-blade bronze propeller will really provide a really quiet ride. Snow Bird also has an auxiliary engine, an Evinrude two-stroke six horsepower with manual steering and mounted on a fixed bracket. If you need to set anchor for the night, you can easily do so with the Danforth 18-pound anchor connected to her Ideal electric winch and 250 feet of chain.

 Electrical and Electronics:
When cruising, AC power is provided by the Entec 5kw diesel generator set, which only has 981 hours of use and has a new start battery. Her battery charger is a ProNautic 12 and there is a ProNautic 40 inverter. When at the dock, plug Snow Bird into 30 amp shore power. Her electronics package is built for long term cruising or day outings and includes a Hummingbird GPS and depth sounder, a Garmin 740 plotter, Ratheon R10 radar, Uniden MC 1010 VHF, Com Nav autopilot and a thru hull transducer. Other electronics include an ACR EPIRB, propane auto shut off, wind speed meter, knot meter, tilt meter, intercom, and gas detector. Electric wipers at each of the three interior helm windows keep visibility clear if you navigate through wet weather. The CD stereo system with Panor Maxxima speakers provides musical entertainment, including on the stern deck.

 Notes and Extras:
This package also comes with a Force 8 6 inflatable dinghy for emergency or shore-going needs. Trawlers are popular boats and this 37-footer is comfortable and ready for new adventures. Call today to see this nautical dream in person.
