THRILLING AND FAST DAY TOUR BOAT! If you are looking to start or expand your day tour business, this is just the exhilarating ride your customers will love. Western Explorer has good speed, comfortable seating for 17 customers and one crew. This boat could be great for eco tours, short day sighting, whale watching, lava tours or other wildlife viewing opportunities. The fantastic visibility from every seat will make this a thrilling trip for everyone on board. Your Yelp reviews will be stellar!

 Interior:
The helm is positioned starboard off the center of the vessel and behind the four rows of cushioned passenger seating which seat five persons each. The helm area easily has enough standing space for a captain and crew member with plenty of hand rails to keep you steady. Or if the crew member is the tour guide, bring a marine cushion and they can sit on the storage locker in the bow facing the passengers, thus allowing eye contact interaction. A safety/comfort grip railing is available for the first row of passengers. The second through fourth rows of seating have knee cushioning so you don t come away with bruised knees. Under each seat is storage with life vests for each person on board. The helm s dash is located behind a spray shield and is pretty roomy, so if you want to mount additional electronics, you have space for them. Although this is a standing helm, there is a nice long cushion behind you so you can lean back and relax a little. This cushioning also helps deafen the sound of the engines so your passengers can hear your voice.

 Engine and Mechanical:
Two 2016 Suzuki 200 horsepower gas engines with 1,200 hours on them provide the propulsion power to Western Explorer. She cruises at a brisk 30 knots at 4,500 rpm and has a zippy top speed of 43 knots. Her two aluminum fuel tanks carry a total of 140 gallons of fuel and she has a range of 250 nautical miles, plenty for your adventure on the water.

 Electrical and Electronics:
Western Explorer comes with a Simrad MFD GPS, radar and depth sounder and a Ritchie compass. For communications, she comes with an ICOM M504 VHF, and for safety, she has an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB), which is used to alert search and rescue services in the event of an emergency.

 Notes and Extras:
This vessel is registered as a passenger vessel with a total capacity of 17. A United States Coast Guard inspection was most recently completed in 2014, COI is current. Forty exposure suits for clients and two life rings also come with this package. She is in good condition and has her maintenance records available.
