LOW ENGINE HOURS, LOTS OF FEATURES, GREAT BIG WATER BOAT! When weather and seas turn rough, this boat s got the size and strength to stay where the fish are, when other anglers are packing up and heading to shore. The Pacific Explorer features a comfortable sleeper v-berth, a spacious cabin, and a dedicated head closet accessible from the back deck.

The lockable bulkhead door keeps the weather out when you want to be in. On the starboard is a small galley area with a Wallas two-burner cook-top/furnace, Ice box, a large stainless steel sink, and a storage cabinet under the sink. The stove has a cover to help extend your counter space. A comfortable passenger seat is located in between the galley and the captain's chair. A large storage cubby underneath the seat, as well as under the captain s seat, makes great places to store away extra snacks. The captain's seat is nicely cushioned with armrests and a comfortable foot rest. The excellent view over the bow is kept clear during rainy or muggy weather, with three electric windshield wipers and a defrost fan. During hotter days, the fan can also be used to keep a hot captain a little bit cooler. The port side of the cabin begins with storage trays and hooks for coats and hats. This space is the interior wall of the head, which is accessed from the aft deck. The three-person dinette is thickly cushioned, and a cubby storage in the wall panel keep things like small table games, cell phones, keys or sunglasses in a safe place. At night the dinette can convert into a berth for one large adult or two petite adults. Drawers incorporated into the larger bench seating can store away paper plates, cutlery, and maps. Sliding windows on either side of the cabin let in fresh air when the cabin gets stuffy. The v-berth is very comfortable and perfect for two adults. Storage trays stretch the length of both sides. Outside bow access is achieved by way of the large hatch in the v-berth. The mid-berth storage box also doubles as a step for the hatch. Throughout the interior there are welded handrails, convenient cup holders, and plenty of storage, coming together to make this a very comfortable ride.

 On Deck:
Hewescraft boats are built for serious fishermen with plenty of room for fighting fish, not each other. High sides, wide gunnels and the spacious design allow for the ultimate fishing functionality. The deck space on this Hewescraft has features galore. Beneath the self-bailing deck is one of the best features of this model: a large, 40-gallon rear deck fish hold. There is also a transom fish hold. You'll have to fish for a very long day to fill up these boxes. Other features include a deck wash down system, electric Sate-T pot puller, and a dinghy davit. The cabin roof has a custom-built aluminum dinghy rack. Eight aluminum rocket style fishing rod holders provide a sturdy place to store rods not in use. The aft outside helm lets the captain stay with the guests and where the fun is happening. Access to the bow is easily done via a large hatch through the cabin and v-berth. Another great feature to the outside space on this model is the roomy head is accessed from the aft deck. Besides a lavatory, this makes a great changing room so you can sit in the cabin in fresh clothes, thus keeping the cabin as clean and mess-free as possible.

 Engine and Mechanical:
A single, reliable 2008 Suzuki DF300 300 horsepower gas engine with only 600 hours on it provides a healthy amount of power behind this Pacific Cruiser. She has a brisk cruising speed of 24 knots at 4,000 rpm and has a top speed of 32 knots. You won't be puttering to the hot fishing spots; you just might be the first boat there. Your Lenco trim tabs will ensure you have a comfortable ride there. She has hydraulic steering and Suzuki controls. She carries 156 gallons of fuel in a single aluminum engine. Her 2008 9.9 horsepower Suzuki auxiliary engine on a fixed bracket with rod is great for trolling or as back-up power. When you need to anchor, you have a Danforth 30-pound anchor hooked onto 280 feet of chain and line and a Power/Winch electric winch.

 Electrical and Electronics:
For entertainment, you've got a great Panasonic dual stereo system. For getting to and from where the fish are, you have a Garmin 740s GPS and Depth Sounder. Communications are by way of ICOM IC-M304 VHF and Cobra CB. Electric windshield wipers at the interior helm keep visibility clear when the weather is rainy or the water is choppy.

 Notes and Extras:
Seasoned boat owners know Hewescrafts are well-built and hold their value very well. Hewescraft has been manufacturing welded aluminum boats in Colville, Washington for nearly 60 years longer than any other aluminum boat builder on the West Coast. This package comes with a 2008 EZ Loader two-axle steel trailer with oil bath hubs and bunks.
