Seas the day is a 24 extended cab sport fishing cruiser. Built tough enough for the commercial fisherman but comfortable enough for the recreational skipper that wants the versatility for extended trips. The 24 Orca line is known for a smooth, stable ride. Her built in flotation helps give her a quiet ride and as for her general quality Offshore Magazine said, The Skagit Orca 24 is one of the highest-quality boats we have tested in this size range of any class.

 Interior:
The Orca extended cabin option offer a popular interior layout with 360-degree visibility through her rock solid Sea Glaze windows. Even the head is equipped with windows and privacy curtains that may be opened to improve visibility and eliminate blind spots. For cruising comforts, she features a stand up head with y-valve and hot and cold shower so you never have to rush back to port. Her galley is equipped with the versatile Wallas 2 burner diesel stove that serves as both an easy clean cooktop and cabin heater. Owners love these because they remove condensation from the cabin on those damp raining days. A Norcold AC/DC refrigerator, stainless steel sink supported by 30 gallons of fresh water with another 6 gallons in her hot water tank and generous Formica counter space add to the cruising conveniences. The convertible settee converts to either rear facing seat for dining or forward facing seat so the navigator can enjoy the view with the skipper. It can also convert to another berth for overnight stays when cruising. Her forward v-berth is equipped with both mattress and side cushions to make it warm and comfortable for both sleeping and as a play area for the grand kids. For entertainment her Alpine CD tuner comes with an XM radio receiver.

 On Deck:
The Orca has an expansive back deck. Trailer Boats Magazine writes, The rear deck seemed perfectly suited for serious fishing, with lots of casting room and an insulated fish box on either side of the engine hatch. Seas the Day is fully equipped with an Electric/Safe-T-Puller for traps and 2 Cannon MAG20DT Electric down riggers. A built in fish cleaning station and salt water wash down make packing your catch up a breeze Her ground tackle package is a 20 lb. Danforth with 30 of chain with 250 of line for those times you need a deep anchor.

 Engine and Mechanical:
Her power plant is a 250hp Suzuki that pusher her along at a brisk cruising speed of 30 mph. supported by 136 Gallons of fuel for those long trips. Bennet trim tabs allow you to customize her ride for comfort and economy. The outboard power plant is considered by many to be a real benefit for both easy maintenance, repower and the elimination of problems often associated with outdrives. On the Orca the outboard version also offers the advantage of gaining a huge storage space where the inboard would normally be placed. When it is time do a little trolling, her electric start 8hp Yamaha takes over. Hydraulic steering at both the inside helm and her aft steering station give you the versatility you want in close quarter handling.

 Electrical and Electronics:
When back at the dock her 20-amp charger quickly tops up your batteries for you next outing. Her electronics package is the Standard Horizon chart plotter, with Furuno FCV 600L depth sounder. On the aft helm she is equipped with Furuno LS4100 fish finder so you can move her into the perfect position to drop your line and bring in the big one
