Off Leash a 25 C-Dory Tomcat is one of those hard to find Pacific Northwest Power Cats that is so sought after because of their versatility for fishing and exploration cruising on an incredibly stable, fast and nimble platform. With street legal 8.5 ft. beam and her EZ Loader trailer she fits the growing ranks of the trailer sailor who wants the option to expand their cruising grounds from Alaska to Florida keys or just make their next adventure launch at 65 mph. Much of what has made the Tomcat so popular can be found in a Sounder magazine articles about the upside of downsizing : What makes Off Leash a unique find: 1. They are hard to find because they were not made during the recession. Most owners keep and maintain them and with few design changes on the new ones the cost of buying new and outfitting gets expensive. 2. Off Leash has just gone through a complete refit over the past two years by her owners to update the mechanicals to the latest technology for cruising but due to unexpected injury the owners have to transition away from boating.

Stepping inside you have everything you need in a versatile convenient package for warm comfortable 3 to 4 season cruising experience. To starboard is a conveniently located head with hot/cold shower, y-valve equipped odor free fresh water flush toilet equipped with a new macerator pump and the ability to switch to salt water flush if saving fresh water is desired. It is one of the only Tomcats equipped with a separate convenience sink in the head that is so popular with many of the crew. Moving forward you find a surprisingly complete and expandable galley. It is equipped with the popular Wallas Diesel Ceramic Top stove that also serves as a cabin heater to removes condensation from the cabin on those cold rainy days. The counter is equipped with built in convenience of both AC shore power plugs as well as your AC inverter controls and plugs. A roomy convertible settee is just forward that has been upgraded with two tone extra padded upholstery. One of the big draws of the Tomcat is the extra-long queen size forward sleeping berth. There is room enough for the whole family up here and it is surround by a massive amount of storage around and under the bed.

 Notes and Extras:
Off Leash is one of the boats that are just hard to find because of their popularity with their owners and price point compared to other power cats. There were not a lot made during the recession and most owners buy them and keep due to low maintenance cost. They are versatile and can get a family into expedition cruising without breaking the bank. Off leash has spent life Under Cover either at the dock or under cover on her EZ-Loader trailer in the winter so she shows well. She has been refitted by a cruising captain who has over 10,000 live aboard and cruising miles under his belt so upgrades have been thought out and installed with years of experience. Because of an injury the owners are going to be getting out of boating, so she will already be equipped with all the little cruising items you would normally have to put on her. If you are interested in getting a well-equipped boat so you can spend your money on bait and beverages vs upgrades, repairs and increased sales taxes, she s worth a look.
