INTERIOR

When you enter the tidy cabin on Whale Song, you will be welcomed by a bright, clean and welcoming interior. On starboard is the head with an electric toilet and shower fixture. A 50-gallon fresh water tank, six-gallon hot water tank, and 9.5 gallon holding tank serve your galley and septic needs. The galley is forward and has a two-burner Wallas stove, single basin sink, nice-sized Nova Kool refrigerator, lots of storage and a good amount of counterspace. Next is the inside helm. The cushioned Wave Rider suspension pedestal captain s chair is on a raised platform which houses a storage drawer. Across on port when entering the cabin is a convenient hanging area for coats, survival suits, wet clothes and the like. A raised four-person dinette is forward. It seats four for meals and sleeps two at night. Oodles of drawer space is below the floor platform. A companion Wave Rider helm seat is forward and additional storage is below it as well. In the bow, you have a large berth that sleeps two together with the center cushion in place, or create two separate berths or seating areas by moving the center cushion. Storage trays keep small items nicely tucked away. In all, Whale Song sleeps four comfortably. Engine heat and Wallas heating keep you all toasty warm day and night.


ON DECK
This is a fantastic, large and unencumbered deck space fit for numerous fishing friends with plenty of elbow room. Narrow walk-around side decks with cabin top safety rails lead you to the bow and her surfaces are all covered with non-skid materials. Whale Song comes with a lot features and accessories which increase her usability, including storage compartments with bilge pumps and flush hatches, storage trays along the gunnels which also act as toe holds, high sides with extra high railing, pole holders and more. She comes with two Scotty electric downriggers, as well as a Hydroslave hydraulic pot puller for lifting those golden pots of crab. A hydraulic boat crane station with 360-degree rotation is on port and easily lifts a dingy onto this nice, flat cabin roof.



ENGINE & MECHANICAL

Power behind Whale Song comes from her 2007 Volvo 370 horsepower Volvo D6 diesel engine with approximately 2,000 hours on it. This Volvo engine is known as being highly durable with low maintenance requirements. Whale Song cruises at 24 knots at 3,000 rpm. Her two aluminum fuel tanks carry a total of 170 gallons of fuel and she utilizes approximately 12 gallons per hour, making her range a nice long 325 nautical miles. She has a 2019 Volvo DPH-D1 outdrive and hydraulic steering and electric controls. She has a duoprop and Bennett hydraulic trim tabs to give you great get-up-and-go while keeping a nice even plane. Also at her stern is a 9.9 horsepower 2007 Yamaha auxiliary engine. It has a propeller guard, an electric start, and tilt with controls at an aft station. There is also a 10-gallon fuel tank for this engine. When anchoring is what you desire to do, you have a 22-pound plow anchor on an electric Maxwell winch with 33 feet of chain and 275 feet of line.


ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS
Navigate safely to and from wherever your adventures take you with your Raymarine ST 6001 auto pilot and find those hot fishing spots with your Raymarine GPS, Raymarine Pathfinder RL80C plotter and radar, and your Raymarine D5500X depth sounder. To communicate over the airwaves, you have an ICOM ICM 12 VHF. Whale Song has two AGM start batteries and two Optims in the housebank. Batteries are new in 2019. When at the dock, plug Whale Song into 30-amp shore power. She has a Xantrex 40-amp battery charger and a 60-amp alternator. This package comes with all the electronics and electrical systems you look for in a boat of this notable craftmanship, including electric wipers and defrosters on each of her windshield panes, a rigid LED forward-facing light, deck lights and ample cabin lighting, a Jabsco search light with remote control, and much more. For entertainment, you have a nice SONY Bluetooth stereo with XM.
