INTERIOR
A grand unique feature to this motorsailer is the enclosed raised pilothouse. Enter from the aft flybridge through the sliding, lockable weathertight hatch door with dodger. You ll find the pilothouse is quite a large space with fantastically large windows on all sides. A large steering wheel is on starboard and an L-shaped bench seat lets the captain rest his legs next to several friends and family. Further down into Quest, you will reach the expansive living quarters. A large u-shaped dinette with cushioned seating and a nice long table welcomes you and your guests for a round of games or a family dinner. There are storage cupboards and book nooks all along one side, with a cabinet of drawers as well. Beautiful cherry wood is pleasant to the eyes and white Formica paneling on the walls and in other areas brightens up this space nicely and is very easy to clean. There are large portholes and two large skylight hatches to allow plenty of daylight, and thoughtful lighting fixtures have been installed throughout. Across is a sizable galley with a two-burner gimballed Force 10 range (new in 2019), a nice, deep two-basin sink with a pull down sprayer faucet, Isotherm refrigerator, and an abundance of storage that will make your head spin. Quest sleeps six in three staterooms. A port and starboard stateroom feature roomy bunk beds. The roomy double berth main stateroom is accessed via steps from the pilothouse aft and awaits to provide you a great night s sleep and has its own en suite head. Webasto forced air hydronic furnace keeps the entire cabin warm. Both of the vessel s heads have hand sinks and toilets and showering capabilities. Serving your septic and water needs, you have a 40-gallon holding tank and two water tanks, which hold 400 gallons of fresh water. You will be pleasantly surprised at the roominess of this interior, as well as the brightness and its wealth of storage options. She makes a great long ranger or liveaboard for certain.

ON DECK
Quest has boarding access amidships on both sides and at the transom. She has very wide side decks with non-skid coating for easy traversing around the entire circumference of the vessel. Stainless steel railing surrounds the entire circumference. She has some room on her deck for tying down gear; hand railing/gear railing can be found all over. The cockpit has a square self-bailing seating area for about nine adults to enjoy the ride. Lines are within easy reach and there is line storage galore to keep your boat buttoned up. Her sail package includes a Dacron main sail with full battens and two reef lines (new 2010), a new genoa 2020 self-furling (Dacron), a 135-percent foresail #1 (Dacron) staysail, a jib, reefed for working jib (Dacron) spinnaker, and a cruising/asymmetrical (nylon).


ENGINE & MECHANICAL
Access to her engines is easily through pilothouse deck hatches. Quest is nicely powered by her two rebuilt 1995 Yanmar 3JH2 38.7 horsepower diesel engines. They cruise at six knots and have 2,373 and 2424 rebuilt hours on them from their 2012 rebuild. She has two aluminum fuel tanks which hold a total of 316 gallons of diesel and she utilizes about one gallon of fuel per hour, making her range a nice 350 nautical miles and up to 650 miles at 6 knots @ 2000 rpms, between refuels. Owner says you can drop down to one engine and you can stretch that to 1260 mile range. She has three-blade feathering propellers and wet heat exchange exhaust, Quadrant steering and wheel controls. Anchoring is done with her Lofrans 1500 electric winch and 200 feet of chain and 200 feet of line with a 30kg Bruce claw anchor. She comes with a 75-pound CQR anchor as well.


ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS
This beauty plugs into 30-amp shore power when at the dock. She has a Magnum 2000 inverter, a ProStar 30 battery charger, and a Hitachi 55-amp alternator. There is a battery isolator separating the batteries. You also have solar power with the three Solarx 26 x 44-inch solar panels 6.5 amp hours with ProStar 30 Photovoltaic Controller. She has one start battery and a six-volt housebank. Batteries were new in 2019. She also has a Victron Energy battery transformer. The navigation electronics package starts with her Raymarine C90 GPS and plotter. She has a Raymarine depth sounder and a Raymarine STB002 autopilot. She has a Raymarine radar and an Icom IC M-56 VHF for communications, as well as an Icom IC M-710 SSB and an ACR ALB-32 Cat 1 EPIRB. She has a ComNav Class B AIS transducer. For entertainment, you have a Dual MCP43 AM/FM stereo with fantastic deck speakers.


NOTES & EXTRAS
This vessel was designed by luxury motor sailing yacht designer Angelo Lavranos and was built in South Africa. This package comes with some great extras. All her standing rigging was renewed in 2010. She comes with five adult survival suits plus life preservers, two first aid kits, a Solas six-passenger canister liferaft (last inspected in 2023), a Lifesling life ring, a Jordan Series Drogue, and much more.

INTERIOR
Walk down into Oz and you will see she is well lit and spacious. With bench seating both port and starboard around a large table in the main salon, this area works both as a general dinning area but also doubles as single bunks for guests or children. She has a port mounted galley that includes a stove with oven, sink and small fridge. Aft she has storage areas that can also be converted to day beds. Forward are the head and v-berth that will sleep 2.

ON DECK
Oz has a generous cockpit that has plenty of storage and seating while underway or lounging after a long day of travel. She is equipped with a partial cockpit cover that keeps you out of the elements on a nasty day or shades you from the sun on a hot one. She has ample space both port and starboard to access the sails or to launch the bow mounted dinghy. The cockpit is armed with a kicker bracket to store the dinghy engine, BBQ, and propane tank for the kitchen stove.

ENGINE & MECHANICAL
Oz is powered by a reliable Yanmar 35 HP main engine that runs like a champ. She will push her along nicely around 6-7 knots while only sipping .75 gallons per hour. She has a Danforth anchor attached to 50 feet of chain and 300 feet of line stored in her forward locker. All the sails, winches and standing rigging appears to be in great shape and ready to search for some steady winds.

ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS
This 34' C&C has a small Garmin package that includes GPS, plotter and depth sounder. She has a Apelco VHF and Raymarine auto pilot. There is a 110 shore power system for powering the battery charger, hot water tank and microwave.
