REDUCED TO 1.65M One of a kind, low hour, Delta-Style steel combination commercial fishing/ 12 passenger uninspected charter. The M/V Survey Point is a all welded steel vessel with multiple recreational or commercial options. She was originally designed to be used as an uninspected 12 pack charter vessel, with her 3 guest quarters forward and crew quarters aft, but would also make an awesome combination fishing vessel with her RSW, large fish hold, 2 wing stainless slush tanks and aft cockpit. This Van Peer design and build literally has to many creature comforts and amenities to mention in this listing.
Interior: | |
Unlock the rear entry door from the massive back deck and enter the spacious rear salon of Survey Point and you will notice a large sitting area, dining room table and large full size kitchen to rival any in most modern homes. The interior is beautifully finished in cherry and myrtle wood. Directly left of the entry door is a set off steps to access the aft stateroom and engine room. The crew quarters aft include a bathroom with head and shower, 2 sets of bunk beds and storage for crew or guests. This set up is designed to give the crew plenty of space and privacy from paid guests if she is being used for charter purposes. Moving forward of the kitchen you can step down into the forward berthing area or step up into the main helm station. The forward berthing area includes 3 separate staterooms each with their own bathroom with head and shower. Moving up the steps into the main helm, be prepared to have your breath taken away. The Survey Point boasts one of the most impressive helm stations you will ever see. The full width cabin of this trawler really stands out in the wheel house. She has a fully equipped master helm with 2 forward facing mate chairs, a large table and seating area and a day bed. She of course has a full arsenal of electronics
On Deck: | |
This Van Peer custom trawler has all the back deck amenities and more. She has a fully functional rear cockpit with power gurdies, engine controls and electronics. She also has a large RSW main fish hold with matching port and starboard stainless slush tanks. The entire rear deck is covered, with the upper deck serving as a storage area for the launch or whatever else you can pick with her 4500 pound deck crane. The pot hauler is also mounted on the upper deck with ample space for shrimp or crab pots and space to work your gear. Survey Point was designed with generous port and starboard walk around decks to access your entry and exit doors or to work your way to the bow to run the anchor wench.
Engine and Mechanical:
Survey Point is powered by a single marine Lugger 1276 diesel engine with just over 3000 hours. She boasts both a 25 and 40 kw Northern Lights generator, the first to power the RSW system and the ladder to run the house systems of the vessel. She also has a Coast Guard approved black and gray water treatment system, stabilizers, diesel furnace with in floor heat, a Sea Recovery water maker and a fuel transfer system to pump fuel between her 4 diesel tanks. Ground tackle includes her 850 pound Forfjord anchor with 15 fathoms of 3/4" chain and 66 fathoms of 1" galvanized steel cable. Needless to say, you will sleep like a baby at anchor with this set up.
Electrical and Electronics:
The electronic package installed on this Van Peer is just as impressive as the rest of the ships systems. She boasts one Furuno DRS6A radar interfaced with a NavNet 3d system and one Furuno 36 mile radar, along with 1 Furuno GPS, 1 17' ASUS computer with NavNet navigation and 1 CBR desktop computer with Nobeltec navigation. She is also armed with a Furuno depth sounder, Simrad auto pilot, Furuno AIS and a Wesmar color sonar.
Notes and Extras: | |
Survey Point is a fine example of a quality built, steel hulled vessel that would serve as an awesome commercial fishing vessel or a recreational vessel without an equal. She was built with the dual purpose of working as a 12 pack uninspected vessel or a high end commercial power troller. She is fueled up and ready for her next adventure.
