JUST REDUCED to $99,900! SOLID BUILD, LOW HOUR, LARGE COCKPIT, SPORT-FISHER! Check out this 28 foot aluminum OtterCraft sport fisher. She is a 2005, but you couldn't tell from her appearance. Originally built for the United States government, she is over built and in great condition.
Interior:
When you open the back door and step into the cabin, the first thing you will notice is the weight of the door. It is thicker and heavier than vessels in her class, and with a 3 foot glass panel visibility is great. The interior is simple and well laid out with plenty of storage and seating. Two bench seats with storage lockers are present starboard and port with two forward facing chairs for the skipper and a mate. Both forward facing chairs are equipped with storage underneath also. The v-berth is large enough for a couple and maybe a few small kids. The Eperspacher diesel heater is present to keep this space warm and cozy.
On Deck:
This sport fisher is designed to be a fish killing machine! With it's large cockpit, scotty electric down riggers, 15 hp kicker and rod holders, the fish don't stand a chance. She also has a very unique transom step system both port and starboard that would be great to get the kids out of the water on a hot summer day or to step into a launch. There is a large walk around space to access the bow and ground tackle. This is where you can really see the quality of build in her over sized cleats, grab rails, and anchor system. A large roof area allows storage of pots or a large inflatable.
Engine and Mechanical:
This aluminum work boat is powered by a single 250 HP Mercury 4-stroke main engine with only 436 total hours. A 15 HP 4-stroke Mercury kicker can double as a get home engine. She is also equipped with 2 Scotty electric down riggers, a set of Lenco trim tabs, 3 bilge pumps, an anchor windless and a Bruce anchor with 25 feet of chain and 500 feet of rope. She cruises at 25 knots while running at only 4200 RPM's and burning between 11-12 gallons per hour. With 140 gallons of fuel at your disposal, she has plenty of range to run to your favorite fishing hole or camping spot.
Electrical and Electronics:
This Otter Craft's main helm chair is set up to be within easy reach of all the systems on the vessel. From the main controls to the bilge pumps, wipers and all the electronics. She has a fairly new Garmin plotter/sounder, Cobra VHF, Lewmar windless, trim tabs and all the operating switches for the bilge pumps and wipers close at hand.
Notes and Extras:
Included in the sale is a 2020 EZ loader double axle trailer that has only seen the water a hand full of times. This Otter Craft would make a great charter vessel, recreational sport fisher, or water taxi.
