ON DECK
A Peter Brady design out of Australia, this cruiser was built for her current owner by well-known John Shaw in Westport, WA. These boats have a good reputation as strong seaworthy boats with offset engines and all the sail controls brought back to the helm, now a common feature among newer sailboats. This beamy cat was built using strip-planking, which involves attaching strips of red cedar onto formers and then covering the entire boat shell with fiberglass matting and epoxy resin overlay. She has a fantastic wide walk-around design with removable canvass panels in her covered cockpit which opens her outside helm and crew seating. Coming aboard is easy from any docking position by stepping on her port or starboard stern steps. This package comes with two Lewmar 48ST secondary winches, one Lewmar 40St Halyard and two-each Lewmar 30 ST Harken Genoa sheet system with tri roller leads, and three sails fully battened 150% jib and stay sail.
