This beamy cat was built using strip-planking, which involves attaching strips of red cedar onto formers and then covering the entire boat shell with fiberglass matting and epoxy resin overlay. She has a fantastic wide walk-around design with removable canvass panels in her covered cockpit which opens her outside helm and crew seating. Coming aboard is easy from any docking position by stepping on her port or starboard stern steps.
